This whole thing basically started because Disney wanted more money than what they had previously received from the Spider-Man films that had already been made. The studiowanted a bigger slice of the pie when it came to the third film, which is supposed to be released on July 16th, 2021, but that wasn’t going to cut it with Sony Pictures.

When a blockbuster film is being made, it’s all about the money for some people. This was definitely the case for the next movie in the Spider-Man series. While fans of the webslinger just want to see him on the big screen a few more times, the people who are behind the creation of the movie series seem to be a bit more focused on what they can get out of it as far as money goes, and it’s hard to blame them for that.

After hearing that their favorite human and spider hybrid was back in the MCU, some fans made a few adorable memes to show off their love for the webslinger. Previously, those who enjoyed the Spider-Man films with actor Tom Holland in them were really enraged about the whole ordeal between Sony Pictures and Disney, and some comments that Tony Vinciquerra, Sony Pictures’ CEO and chairman, did not make things any better.
He basically claimed that they didn’t really need Feige to work on future Spider-Man movies in order for them to be a success. “We tried to see if there’s a way to work it out…The Marvel people are terrific people, we have great respect for them, but on the other hand, we have some pretty terrific people of our own. Kevin didn’t do all the work,” said Vinciquerra.

Some Marvel fans think that Matt Murdock should be a part of any movies that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be in in the future. That probably won’t happen, but it is certainly a cool thing to imagine.
Lots of fans were very upset when they learned that news that Daredevil had been taken off of Netflix at the end of 2018. That show was pretty good, so the fact that it was cancelled came as a bit of a surprise to Marvel fans everywhere. Some of the people who are fans of Spider-Man are also big fans of SpongeBob SquarePants, so of course they made some SpongeBob memes about the webslinger and the drama between Marvel and Sony. Some fans of the film series created memes about SpongeBob coming back, as if he were Spider-Man making his way back into the MCU.
That’s because Spidey’s return was a huge shock to a lot of people. The Avengers (including Spider-Man) defeated Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, but that doesn’t mean Thanos has not popped up in a couple of memes after his death in the films, since some fans have used him to create some memes about Spider-Mans’ return.
Some Marvel fans have even went as far as turning scenes from the last Avengers film into hilarious jokes that are centered around the issues between Marvel and Sony Pictures. In the clip, Tony Stark (Iron Man) is supposed to represent Sony, while Steve Rogers (Captain America) represents Sony. That actually makes a lot of sense when one considers the fact that Stark was very close with Parker.
3 Maybe Sony Can’t Do It Alone
At least one fan of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man created a hilarious meme that suggested that Sony can’t handle Spider-Man on their own. That is funny, but it also seems to be true, at least in some ways.
Those who have been watching the goofy, web-slinging superhero on the big screen for a long time might recall that Sony has not always had the best of luck when it comes to this character. Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, which came out in the early 2000’s, were great. But the third one was not very popular, and even though a fourth movie was supposed to happen, the plans for it were scrapped.

Just as fans were rejoicing over the fact that Spider-Man is back in the MCU, they learned that BoJack Horseman will be ending soon. Nothing lasts forever, but it’s still hard for fans to see some of their favorite shows coming to an end.
Recently, Netflix announced that the show would be coming to an end after its’ sixth season. Another interesting fact about the series is that the last season of it will actually come in two parts. On October 25th, 2019, the first part of the season will be added to the streaming service. The second part will be added at the end of January 2020.

While some fans reacted to the most recent news about Spider-Man and the MCU by creating memes that featured Iron Man, Captain America, and Thanos, others created some that featured the actor who is most known for portraying Loki, Tom Hiddleston. Hiddleston looks pretty excited in this meme, which is exactly how all of Holland’s fans probably felt before they breathed a collective sigh of relief when they heard he will be a part of Marvel movies again.
