Colt Johnson, the self-proclaimed lady’s man, has once again found himself a hot-headed Brazilian in Jess Caroline. The two met after his divorce from Larissa Dos Santos Lima. But Jess lived out in Chicago and worked as a nanny, so the two had to work at a long-distance relationship. Jess has made it known to the cameras that she would be happy to stay after her work visa expired, but Colt’s mother, Debbie, did not like the sound of her son marrying another control freak.
On the all-new August 9 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans should prepare themselves for a manipulative talk between mother and son. Debbie has set her son up for failure whilst simultaneously pissing Jess off. Who knew cats could come between a relationship?
When Jess found out that Colt's friend Vanessa was watching their cats, she freaked out. Not knowing how to use her words, she took off her shoe and threw it at Colt. Colt then explained to his overbearing mother that he was "paralyzed" with fear. He attributed his anxiety to flashbacks of his time spent with Larissa and how she had physically assaulted him. Debbie egged her son on, asking if this was a road he really wanted to venture down again. The mother of one feels her son is making a huge mistake by even talking about the idea of marriage or children with Jess. Many TLC viewers feel she is happy to throw a wrench into her son’s relationship so she can have him all to herself. Colt agrees that Jess cannot treat him this way, but is determined to try and make their relationship work because he loves her.
Even though it has already been revealed that the couple did not work out, as Jess has publicly shown off her new man, many are still very curious to see how the relationship went up in flames. Colt’s relationship with Vanessa Guerra is clearly not as platonic as he claims because he openly admitted he would like to have sex with her. It is probably for the best that Jess and Colt ended their courtship, especially since her new man looks like a step up from the Las Vegas native.
