The two couples experienced very different K1 visa journeys on the show. Julia was trapped on a farm and clashed with her fiancé’s parents about chores and sleeping with Brandon, while Yara was stuck in New Orleans with a heavy-drinking and questionably mature fiancé. After the show, fans have noticed the two couples interacting on social media, and have wondered if a real friendship is forming. Now, in a new quadruple selfie, it seems clear that the two young couples are bonding over their shared experience.
Julia posted a picture of the four of them having drinks at Cantina Frida in Beverly Hills, California. The group seemed to be having a great time, and fans got a glimpse of Yara and Jovi’s baby Mylah’s stroller in the background. The photo is most likely a throwback to when all four were in Los Angeles a few months ago to film the season 8 Tell-All. Julia’s caption also teases the upcoming Tell-All episode, and all four are dressed warmly for Southern California, so the photo must be from February.
Fans loved seeing Yara and Jovi and Julia and Brandon together, and many gushed in the comments that the four of them were the best couples from season 8. Many fans have expressed disappointment in the rest of the Happily Ever After? season 6 cast, and were thrilled to find out that Julia and Brandon and Yara and Jovi will be featured in the season as well. Several wanted to bypass Happily Ever After? altogether and pitched a spin-off just featuring the two couples.
