Spider-Man No Way Home Art Unites 3 Marvel Franchises

All three Spider-Man franchises come together in a piece of Spider-Man: No Way Home fan-art. Rumors continue to be persistent that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are joining Tom Holland in the upcoming Jon Watts film. There are multiple rumors about the previous franchises' villains returning, but the Spider-Verse storyline has not yet been confirmed.

With Spider-Man: No Way Home's release nearing, there's anticipation that Sony will kick-start the marketing campaign for it. It has been months since any new official information was revealed via the announcement of its title. Since then, production for the project has wrapped up, and with only a little bit over six months to go before the blockbuster hits theaters, there's understandably clamor for more details about what to expect from it. As the waiting continues due to both Sony and Marvel Studios' silence about the flick, fans are taking it upon themselves to imagine what the movie will look like.

Courtesy of u/stevenevin on Reddit comes a piece of new fan-art visualizing what Spider-Man: No Way Home's one-sheet could look like. The poster puts Holland's version of the character front and center, while Garfield and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy, as well as, Maguire and Kirsten Dunst's MJ are featured on the side. Zendaya's Michelle Jones and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange are also included. Check it out below:

Amidst persistent rumors about their involvement in the upcoming Marvel Studios and Sony collaboration, both Garfield and Stone have been asked about the matter separately. Garfield initially denied the murmurs but, interestingly, walked back on his statement shortly after, claiming to "never say never" in terms of the idea. Stone was quizzed about it more recently while promoting her latest project, Cruella, and like her on-screen partner, denied her involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home. That being said, she admitted that she's well-aware that such speculations about her return as Gwen exist.

Both Marvel Studios and Sony have not given any indication that there's merit to these rumors, but it's worth noting that Alfred Molina has already confirmed that he's set to reprise his Spider-Man 2 villain, Doc Ock. Meanwhile, Kevin Feige has also revealed that Spider-Man: No Way Home will indeed connect to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Both of these have only fanned the flames of speculations that the upcoming threequel will indeed be a live-action attempt at a Spider-Verse narrative. Belatedly, there have also been rumors that Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin will be the movie's primary antagonist. Whether or not there's any truth to these reports is still uncertain and they likely won't be confirmed until the movie premieres.
