This year, Dream Kardashian got the birthday party other little girls could only dream about — a Barbie-themed extravaganza thrown by her father, Rob Kardashian, from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The daughter of Rob and his ex-fiancée Blac Chyna, Dream turned five on Nov. 10. Of course, the Kardashians are known for throwing lavish birthday parties for themselves and their kids, and Rob was not about to let Dream's birthday go unnoticed.
The history of extravagant Kardashian children's birthday parties goes back years. In 2018, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick threw a Fortnite-themed birthday party for their son Mason's ninth birthday, which included a huge screen in the backyard for playing the game. Then there was the time Saint and Kourtney's son Reign celebrated their birthdays together, and Kim turned her house into a jungle. Even when Kim's daughter Chicago was just turning one, Kim threw an Alice In Wonderland-themed party that transformed the whole house into a trippy Disney dream world. In 2019, Kim threw a Jurassic Park-themed birthday party for her son Saint's fourth birthday, complete with a dinosaur egg ball pit and a huge T-rex. Other highlights include Kim's daughter North's "Kidchella" birthday, North's Moana birthday, and Dream's fairy birthday.
On Wednesday, the Barbie dreamhouse came to life for Dream, E! reported. Khloe Kardashian shared pictures of the party on her Instagram, showing a huge dollhouse, hundreds of gorgeous pink balloons, multiple cakes, an arts and crafts table, and a life-size Barbie doll box to take pictures in. "Dreamy Dream is 5 living in a Barbie World," Khloe wrote on Instagram. As usual, Khloe credited Los Angeles-based party company Balloon and Paper for creating this dream come true. All of her cousins were in attendance, including Khloe's daughter True Thompson, to join in the extravagant fun.
While our childhood selves might be jealous of the Kardashian children's incredible birthday parties, it's hard to fault the Kardashians for spending money to make their children's birthdays special. It's always fun to watch the family go all out to celebrate each other, something they have been doing on the show since Day One.
The only concern — what happens when the children get older and start making demands? One must imagine that once the Kardashian kids hit their teens, the parties will look a lot like MTV's My Super Sweet 16. To all the Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans — good luck keeping up.
