IT: Chapter 2 Director Shares Bloody Bev Photo as Jessica Chastain Wraps

Director Andy Muschietti shares a bloody image of Jessica Chastain from IT: Chapter Two as she wraps filming. The worldwide success of IT last year guaranteed an increase in star power for the sequel, and that's exactly what Warner Bros. achieved. It began with what had been long rumored, as Jessica Chastain joined the film as an older Beverly Marsh. Her casting was long in the works, with a post-credit scene on IT even being considered at one point that would have her appear.

Chastain headlines an impressive cast that has been working on IT: Chapter Two for the last several months in Canada. The latest leak from the set indicates an iconic scene for Richie will be included. But, it also appears that the filming schedule is winding down, as Chastain's work is done.

Muscietti shared a photo on Instagram confirming Chastain has wrapped filming on IT: Chapter Two by using the hashtag #wrappedbutnotforgotten. He made this known by sharing a photo of Chastain's older version of Bev covered in blood. She doesn't appear to mind for the purposes of the photo, but clearly Bev is going to go through some troubling times trying to stop Pennywise again.

One of the creepiest moments from IT was Bev being covered in blood after it came shooting out of her bathroom sink. Only she and the other members of the Losers Club could see the blood, leaving it up to them to clean up the disgusting mess. More bloody instances appear to be in Bev's future still. Luckily for Chastain, she's moved on from this role to now participating in Dark Phoenix reshoots.

With Chastain's role in IT 2 complete, it may not be long before the rest of the cast also finish filming. The other older members of the Losers Club include James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon. McAvoy was one of the first cast members to start filming, but if he's involved in Dark Phoenix reshoots too, then he may not be too far away from wrapping either. The sequel also sees the young cast from the first movie return for flashback scenes, but it is unknown if they're done filming yet.

Even with production appearing to wind down, attention will then turn to the first pieces of marketing being released. The movie is almost exactly a year away from hitting theaters, so any official marketing may still be a few months away. WB didn't release the first trailer for IT until March of 2017, but with more anticipation backing the sequel, something could arrive this year - maybe even just a short IT: Chapter Two tease by Halloween if we're lucky.
