Arrowverse Crossover Images: Elseworlds Heroes, Kent Farm & More

Official photos from the Arrowverse crossover Elseworlds feature newcomers to the DCTV property, as well as the Elseworlds versions of established characters. Since it began with Arrow in 2012, the Arrowverse has expanded to include the TV series The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, in addition to the Green Arrow show that started it all. The CW's shared DC Comics TV universe isn't done growing yet, either. Currently, there are plans in place to launch a Batwoman TV show sometime next year, following Kate Kane's introduction during the three-night Elseworlds crossover event.

Unlike the Arrowverse crossovers in recent years, the Legends of Tomorrow are sitting out Elseworlds - though, they'll apparently be hosting a "crossover" of their own, while the event is unfolding. This year's crossover instead follows Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin), and Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) as they find themselves in Elseworlds: an alternate reality where Oliver is The Flash and married to Iris West (Candice Patton), Barry is the Green Arrow, and Supergirl has been imprisoned by her own sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh). As such, it falls to the three heroes to set things right, with a helping hand from characters like Batwoman and the non-evil Elseworlds versions of their allies.

The CW has now released several new images from the Elseworlds crossover online, well before it airs at the start of December. Among other things, these photos offer an official look at the Elseworlds versions of Green Arrow and Flash, and Ruby Rose as Batwoman, as well as two important villains in the crossover's storyline: LaMonica Garrett as Mar Novu/The Monitor and Arkham Asylum Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davies). You can check them out in the space below.

Oliver and Barry aren't the only ones sporting new looks in the Elseworlds version of reality. As illustrated by these photos, the alternate reality iterations of Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) are a far cry from their regular counterparts and have seemingly led very different lives in the Elseworlds timeline. On the lighter side of things, these images also provide another sneak peek at the Kent Farm in Smallville, along with its main owners: Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch). Of course, it's been confirmed that the Elseworlds version of Clark Ken/Superman wears his famous black suit and battles the other heroes of the Arrowverse at some point. Presumably, then, these Kent Farm images are from either before Elseworlds is created or after reality has been repaired.

That's not to say the Elseworlds reality is all doom and gloom, either. These images further confirm John Wesley Shipp's return to the Arrowverse, and reaffirm that he gets to wear his costume from the 1990s The Flash TV series during the crossover (though why he's wearing the suit, well, that's another matter). It's also nice to see that David Ramsey's John Diggle/Spartan is still a hero in the Elseworlds timeline - assuming the goons he's shown fighting in these photos aren't of the noble variety, anyway.
