Red Dead Redemption 2: Where to Find Woody's Toy Story Outfit

One of the more interesting aspects of Red Dead Redemption 2 is unquestionably the way players are able to dress Arthur Morgan up as they see fit. They can grow out his beard until he's barely recognizable, steal hats from murdered NPCs, or let mud on his jacket dry up and cake on every inch of his body. Whatever bold fashion choices players opt to utilize, there's always going to be something appealing about decking out the protagonist in new clothes that make him look like another famous gunslinger – or, in this case, a famous toy.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, it's actually possible to dress up Morgan to look like Woody from Toy Story. Doing so isn't as easy as walking into a boutique and selecting the correct clothing items for purchase, however, as one of the most important articles of clothing for the ensemble can only be earned after tracking down, killing, and skinning Red Dead Redemption 2's Legendary Buck.

Handing in its hide to a nearby Trapper (alongside a perfect ram hide) will allow users to purchase the most important part of their outfit, the Legendary Buck Vest, for a very modest $26. The rest of the clothing options are readily available across trappers, general stores, and tailors located around the map.

A full breakdown of what's required for the outfit and how Pixar fans can go about securing each piece of Red Dead Redemption 2's Woody outfit can be found below:

  • Estate Boss Hat (Brown) - Available at the Wallace Station General Store.
  • Puff Tie (Red) - Widely available.
  • French Dress Shirt (Yellow) - Widely available.
  • Legendary Buck Vest - Mentioned above.
  • Jeans - Available in all General Stores, with the exception of the ones in Saint Denis and Blackwater.
  • Sleeked Riding Boots - Available in all General Stores, with the exception of the ones in Saint Denis and Blackwater.
  • Arthur’s Pistol Belt - Already own.

The final product is certainly a do-it-yourself type of endeavor, as Disney/Pixar would never in a million years release Woody DLC for an M-rated game like Red Dead Redemption 2. Still, it's a really fun costume for anyone willing to put in the effort required to embrace the zaniness of the game's wardrobe options.

Although, it would admittedly be quite a treat to hear Arthur Morgan tell other characters that there's a snake in his boot, gamers can at least bask in the serendipitous timing of both this attire being realized and Toy Story 4's teaser trailer being released.
