The duo will executive produce and write the series, which focuses on “a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.”
Herbers has signed on to star in the King-created series as Kristen Benoist, the skeptical female psychologist.
The 38-year-old actress, who is known for starring in the short-lived but highly acclaimed WGN America drama series Manhattan, was most recently seen in the acclaimed second season of HBO’s Westworld and Discovery Channel’s thriller miniseries Manhunt: Unabomber alongside Sam Worthington (Avatar 2) and Paul Bettany (Avengers: Endgame).
