Mandalorian Trailer Hypes The First Star Wars Disney+ Show

A new trailer for The Mandalorian is officially released online. The impending release of feature film The Rise of Skywalker in December would normally be the only major event for a franchise like Star Wars. But in addition to ending their classic cinematic story, the property is finally making its long-awaited jump to live-action television. Lucasfilm is planning on making great use of the Disney+ streaming service, with three Star Wars series in development. The Mandalorian already has a second season in the works, and there are shows for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor coming through the pipeline.

Set between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force AwakensThe Mandalorian follows the exploits of the titular lone gunman (Pedro Pascal) as he traverses a lawless corner of the galaxy and works in the complicated bounty hunting profession. Not much is known about the show at this point in time (and there's likely a good reason for that), but fans did get a small taste of what they can expect during D23 2019, when the first trailer debuted. Now, another preview hits the scene.

Today, Lucasfilm shared a new trailer for The Mandalorian. Watch it in the space below:
