90 Day Fiancé’s Natalie Refuses to Say ‘I Love You’ to Mike

Mike from 90 Day Fiancé has walked out on Natalie after she refused to say ‘I love you’ to him during a confessional. The two started off in a good place with one another but their relationship quickly soured once he arrived in Ukraine.

Mike and Natalie are one of the newer couples to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and have already given viewers some uncomfortable moments. The two originally met through Mike’s friend, Matt. Mike’s close friend is married to a Ukrainian woman and asked Mike to be the godfather to their newborn. The Washington state native then met the godmother, who turned out to be Natalie and was influenced - thanks to his friend for showing him pictures of the Kyiv native - to ask her out on a date.

Tensions ran high in a sneak peek of the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé as shown by E! In the Sunday, January 12th episode the TLC producers straight up ask Natalie if she is in love with Mike. The Ukrainian native seemed stunned by the question and took a 15-second pause before even forming a reply. The blonde hesitantly started to say that the answer was hard but that she believed Mike had the potential to be a great guy, uncomfortably adding that there a lot of good moments that they spend together.

The Washington native was understandably uncomfortable by what his future wife had to say as Mike had been planning on bringing Natalie to the United States on a K-1 visa. Mike already had doubts about the previous episode when he stopped by the United States Embassy to check on the status of their visa, only to find out that it was still under review. Mike confronted Natalie that evening accusing her of having already been to the United States as well as applying for a visa before they met. Natalie adamantly denied the allegations. The two have butted heads on the topic of children as Natalie had been pushing for them since Mike arrived in her country, while Mike would like to take it slow as he is in debt. The two then had a heated argument over their nonexistent children because Natalie was concerned the child would be confused as both parents have different religious beliefs, causing her to have a complete meltdown.

The awkward interview left the producers and viewers visibly uncomfortable. Natalie frankly did not seem to understand the power behind saying ‘I love you’ as she tried to explain that they are just words, but her argument was lost in translation. The couple has a lot of baggage to work through before they can move forward and form a life together. This newest season of 90 Day Fiancé has not been the best of the franchise, with many viewers finding the new couples annoying and uncomfortable, leaving fans longing for the days of Larissa and Colt.
