The Queen has never been known to mince her words and according to the English newspaper, The Sun, her Royal Highness has delivered an ultimatum to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle. The Queen was said to have demanded that her aides strike a deal with the Prince and his wife within 72 hours, but Prince Harry was said to be determined to discuss the best monetary deal possible. With the shocking decision that left many of the Royal Family on the outs, Buckingham Palace was slapped in the face when they heard the couple wanted to essentially quit their roles as senior members and move to Canada.

The announcement came on January 8th with Markle leaving the next night to go back to Canada so that Prince Harry could speak with the family. The Queen was reported to be furious with the 38-year-old mother and instant ordered her aides to solve the problem. Prince Harry was set to have his first public appearance since the announcement next week and the 93-year-old Queen would like the mess cleaned up. Many royal enthusiasts can’t help but compare Prince Harry to his great-uncle, Edward VIII who abdicated the thrown for a woman he was in love with.

Many chuckle at the couple’s reasoning for the drastic change as they have said they would like to be in a progressive new role which would not include being a silent public figure. Even though the couple has claimed that the would like to be financially independent the two would most likely retina their cottage in Windsor which cost the British taxpayers $2.4 million. The royal couple would also be awarded a security detail which citizens would also have to pay for. The 35-year old prince is in no rush to sign any deal as he is aiming to broker the best financial agreement for him and his family.
