Pocahontas herself is a fantastic character who is different from most princesses, as she is focusing on other things, and love just happens to stumble into her life. However, she is certainly a very independent character, and this song sums that up best.

Princess and the Frog is one of the most underrated Disney princess movies of all time and deserves far more credit than it actually gets. It tells the classic tale perfectly with some amazing songs that all have an excellent jazz twist added to them with the film being set in New Orleans.
The greatest song that comes from this film as "Almost There," which focuses on Tiana herself and her ambition to open her own restaurant. Not wanting the help of other men or to be a traditional princess like her best friend, she is goal-orientated and hardworking, and this amazing upbeat song that will have you toe-tapping sums that up.
3 "Part Of Your World" (Little Mermaid)
Ariel is an amazing Disney princess whether it be under the sea or up on land, and she has one of the greatest voices of any Disney character. That's why Ursula makes it her goal to take Ariel's voice away from her, but, before that can happen, she provides the movie's best song.
"Part Of Your World" is an unbelievable song that is full of life. It tells the audience Ariel's motives right from the start and ends with one of the most classic moments in Disney history when she bursts out of the water as the waves crash around her.
2 "Let It Go" (Frozen)
You couldn't do this list without "Let It Go," could you? It's a song that you have likely heard a hundred times, and it's one that instantly gets stuck in your head—but that's what makes it such a fantastic princess song. Being belted out by the incredibly talented Idina Menzel, the song took on a life of its own within the movie.
After Frozen had been released there was no escaping this track, and, while it did get slightly irritating at times, it cannot be denied that it's a fantastic song. It's catchy, powerful, and incredibly easy to sing-along with, which is everything you want in a great Disney song.

When it comes to Disney princess songs they just don't get better than this one. Cinderella is the perfect Disney princess, with her rags to riches style storyline. Going from someone who was bullied by her ugly stepsisters to meeting the Fairy Godmother, everything about it screams princess.
Her iconic, "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" song is all about wishing for a greater life, and it is a perfect princess song. The song is catchy and sung beautifully, with a superb message that has helped make this the greatest princess tune in Disney's history.
