Duane Chapman, a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter, posted a touching tribute post to his late wife Beth Chapman in the midst of engagement rumors to her friend Angell. Dog has had some hostile responses after appearing to propose to Beth's maid of honor while on the Dr. Oz show. It had only been eight months since the death of Beth and Dog decided to open up to ET about how hard his life has been since she left him. The reality star told the outlet that it seemed “like yesterday” that he lost her, and time has not healed his wounds. The widower detailed how he still missed her funny comments or a touch from her. But most importantly he missed her words of “encouragement.”

The Colorado native divulged how his wife would always tease him making sure he was the best man he could possibly be. Chapman admitted that his late wife was the “glue” that held his family together as currently, the family has been at one another’s throats. The couple’s daughter, Lyssa, was arrested last month. His proposal to Moon Angell has had some serious rifts. The reality star's daughters feel the women who hang around him only are interested in him for his fame and money while his sons seem a bit more supportive of his future relationships. Chapman admitted that he proposed to Angell because he was feeling very lonely and the assistant had been talking about Beth continuously. The reality star explained that he had become “infatuated with a dream” but still claims that they are just friends as Angell still works for him and takes care of the family’s finances.

While the bounty hunter explained that the moment on Dr. Oz was not fake, he also wanted to apologize for embarrassing Angell as he pointed out even the doctor was in shock. Dog told fans that he had decided to propose before the show even taped leaving fans a bit confused about his actual motives. As for now, the bounty hunter is trying to lie low and let the media coverage blow over.
