Wonder Woman 1984 Funko Figures Confirm Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah Tail

New images of the Wonder Woman 1984 Funko toy line confirms Kristen Wiig's The Cheetah will have a tail in the movie, mirroring her comic book counterpart. The upcoming sequel reunites Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkin with stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, alongside franchise newcomers, Pedro Pascal and Wiig. While Pascal's Maxwell Lord operates from the shadows, Wiig's Barbara Ann Minerva acts as the primary antagonist to Gadot's Diana, aka Wonder Woman.

In the pages of DC Comics, Minerva is an archaeologist in search of magical artifacts who ingests a superpowered serum meant to imbue her with the abilities of the plant god Urzkartaga. However, the transformation goes awry, leaving her to suffer immense pain in her human form, and an unquenchable thirst for blood when she turns into the Cheetah. When she's in her cat form, Barbara is covered in spotted, orange fur, her fingers become razor-sharp claws, and she grows a tail. Thus far, it's been unclear how close Wonder Woman 1984 Cheetah will compare to comic book Cheetah, but a new image from Funko may have added some clarity.
