Call Of Duty: The Easiest Black Ops 3 Achievements To Earn

Achievements need to have a wide variety to appeal to as much of an audience as possible. This means that hardcore players need meaty challenges to chase after, while still providing accolades to more casual players. Call of Duty has mastered this balance over the years, and Black Ops 3 is no exception.

While the game has a few achievements that will make players really work for them, it also has more than enough for those just looking to have a little fun. The ten listed below are ones that almost any player should be able to get.

10 Another Side Of The Story

Often the simplest achievements to unlock are the ones that pertain to a game's story. Upon the completion of a level, players can often expect to hear the magical unlock sound, and get a small boost to their gamerscore. At the end of the game, they will probably get a slightly larger achievement for making it through the campaign, even on lower difficulties.

"Another Side of The Story" is just that, an achievement unlocked for completing the campaign on any difficulty. Perhaps the promise of a higher gamerscore will tempt players back for a more difficult playthrough.

9 Rolling Heavy

The easiest after story-based achievements are those unlocked simply by playing the game. Players are going to be repeating the core gameplay loop no matter the chosen difficulty, so why not reward them for it. Black Ops 3 has plenty of achievements that reward players for pulling off impressive kills.

To unlock "Rolling Heavy," players need to use the Unstoppable Cyber Core to kill five enemies in one charge. Given their tendency to cluster together, this one shouldn't be too difficult to pull off. Just wait for a few enemies to group up and then unleash your inner bull.

8 Decimator

This is another achievement that asks players to kill a certain number of enemies within a set time limit. For this one, the timer is set to three seconds, which sounds hard but really isn't. Again, the AI likes to put enemies in groups, so a well-placed explosion or burst of fire is often all that's needed to inflict mass carnage on them.

Making this easier is that Black Ops 3 does not limit players to traditional weapons to get this achievement. With a combination of Cyber Cores and good ol' fashioned guns, this one is a piece of cake.

7 Doing Camo Right

Hunting for collectibles sounds like an easy way to acquire a quick achievement, but this can be harder than it seems. Looking for easily missed trinkets can be a frustrating experience when enemies are lining up to give you a case of sudden onset lead poisoning. Thankfully, collecting camos for a weapon isn't nearly as hard.

This achievement asks players to get every camo available for a single weapon. Camos are unlocked for killing enemies in multiplayer, so players don't even have to deviate from what they normally are doing.

6 Maximum Firepower

From pitched firefights to Bar Mitzvah's, killer robots can make just about anything better. Any game that allows players to take control of their very own Terminator is automatically better for it. Giving out an achievement for doing so is just the icing on the cake.

Getting this achievement is as easy as unlocking the upgrade for the Remote Hijack Cyber Core. Once this is done, players can unlock just about any ASP (Autonomous Sensory Platform) that they come across. The achievement is for taking control of one, and it's not even necessary to kill anything with it.

5 Crackshot

The current world record for the longest confirmed kill by a sniper stands at 3,540 meters. Compared to that, getting this achievement is easy, as it stands at a mere one hundred meters. Also, pulling of sniper kills in a video game is far less difficult than in real life.

Black Ops 3 is full of long-distance shooting galleries, so picking this up achievement shouldn't be too difficult. Just choose a sniper rifle and get cracking. Pop some poor grunts grape from one hundred meters away, and reap the rewards.

4 Can't Hide

One of the coolest features the original Modern Warfare brought to the table was the ability to penetrate certain materials with gunfire. No more would an enemy be protected from military-grade ammunition by a flimsy piece of plywood. Neither would players for that matter. The knowledge that cover wasn't always a guarantee of safety helped keep players on their toes.

Once someone is familiar with what materials can be shot through, getting this achievement becomes simple. Just find an enemy taking cover somewhere he really shouldn't, and blast him. No muss, no fuss, and ten gamerscore will be the reward.

3 Biff! Bap! Kapow!

Melee combat in most first-person shooters is an afterthought for most developers. Ideally, players are going to be shooting their enemies with the many guns thoughtfully provided for them, so melee is reduced to a quick strike with a rifle or a knife swipe. Black Ops 3 takes this a bit further than most.

This takes the form of the Cyber Core Takedown, later named Rapid Strike once upgraded. Once upgraded, players can string together three strikes into a combo. Simply find three enemies and hit each with a single hit to unlock the "Biff! Bap! Kapow!" achievement.

2 Inertial Distance

Parkour has become one of the most popular sports to capture the public's imagination in recent decades. The fluidity of movement and swift traversal of obstacles has endless visual appeal. One of the most often seen parkour moves is the wall run, where a runner runs along a wall for a short distance.

Players are able to do much the same in Black Ops 3, using it to navigate the environments as well as get an angle on enemies. Once a player has run two hundred and fifty meters in the campaign, this achievement unlocks. Given how often this ability is used, most will probably have it by the end of the game.

1 Unlocked Potential

Upgrade trees are another good way to give players easy achievements to unlock. Players are going to need to improve their abilities as they progress through the game anyway, so rewarding them for doing so seems only natural. Consequently, these achievements are fairly easy to get.

The "Unlocked Potential" achievement is awarded for fully upgrading one Cyber Core. It's as easy as finding a Core and then devoting your upgrades to it until that magic sound is heard.
