Looking at the personalities of Capricorns, there are a number of great action movies that would be perfect for these people. There are also a few choices that they should certainly avoid. Here are some action movies Capricorns will love and some they will hate.

10 Love: Batman Begins

Capricorns are very big on improving themselves. They are often known to subject themselves to extensive learning and training in order to be the best at what they do. This is very similar to Bruce Wayne's path to becoming the Caped Crusader in Batman Begins.

The film follows the iconic hero's origins as Bruce decides he is the only one who can protect Gotham City from being swallowed up by crime. He trains as a ninja, he builds himself into a weapon and becomes a one-man army.

9 Hate: John Wick

Speaking of one-man armies, there are few action heroes that fit that description as well as John Wick. Like Batman, he is also someone who has turned himself into the best at what he does. But he is also holding onto a lot of rage which is where Capricorns might not appreciate his adventures.

Capricorns generally don't like anger, especially when it's exhibited in such an overt manner. The fact that John Wick goes on a rampage after his dog is killed by some Russian thugs suggests he is not someone Capricorns would easily cheer for.

8 Love: Leon: The Professional

One thing that Capricorns really value is the knowledge of experience. Younger Capricorns tend to look to elders for guidance and the learn from them, while older Capricorns use their experience to pass it on to the younger generations.

This teaching relationship is very much at play in Leon: The Professional. Jean Reno stars as a lonely hitman who takes in a young girl (Natalie Portman) whose family was killed and begins to teach her how to become a professional killer.

7 Hate: Crank

Crank is a hugely entertaining action movie with an outrageous sense of humor. However, it features some sequences that Capricorns would have a bit of trouble with. Capricorns tend to be put off or uncomfortable with overt and public displays of passion.

In Crank, Jason Statham plays a man who has been poisoned and needs to keep his heart rate elevated or he will die. He takes some drastic measures to keep this heart-pumping which might not sit well with Capricorns.

6 Love: Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

Practical thinking is something that Capricorns rely on a lot. While others might go for flashier options, Capricorns like to plan and strategize with what they have in order to solve problems and get what they want. This fits well into the Mission: Impossible franchise.

While there are a lot of great movies to choose from in this series, Ghost Protocol might be the best for Capricorns. The fourth film finds Ethan Hunt and his team without support and attempting to save the day with outdated and malfunctioning technology.

5 Hate: Enemy Of The State

Privacy is something most people consider to be very important, however, Capricorns seem to put extra value into keeping things private. They do not like the idea of people's lives being invaded and detest gossip.

With these views, Capricorns would certainly be uncomfortable with Enemy of the State. Will Smith plays a family man who is targeted by surveillance by a government agency. As his whole life is exposed, they attempt to discredit him throughout false allegations.

4 Love: Taken

Taken became a surprise hit when it was released in 2009 and it made Liam Neeson an unexpected action star. Neeson plays a former special operative whose daughter is kidnapped while vacationing abroad. Armed with his particular set of skills, he set out to rescue her.

Neeson's unstoppable father character is an easy one to root for, especially for Capricorns. They hold their family and loved ones very close and feel a responsibility to them. Neeson's singular mission to save his daughter is a mission they would invest in.

3 Hate: Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express comes from the mind of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, so you know you can expect a lot of comedy, but it also has some really solid action as well. The movie stars Rogen and James Franco as two stoners who go on the run after witnessing a murder.

This is obviously a different take on the action genre with the main characters being a bunch of lazy buffoons. While it makes for a funny action-comedy, this might annoy Capricorns too much as they tend to hate laziness.

2 Love: Die Hard

Die Hard is often called the greatest action movie of all time so it feels like a safe bet for anyone to enjoy. However, it might be especially enjoyable for Capricorns who hold persistence as a major asset. For John McClane, the hero of the story, he is nothing if not persistent.

After being trapped at an office Christmas party when terrorists take it over, McClane does everything he can to take down the gang of villains. Though he is only one man without shoes he proves to be impossible to kill.

1 Hate: Lethal Weapon

Lethal Weapon is another action movie classic but this one probably wouldn't sit as well with Capricorn viewers. The movie stars Mel Gibson as a loose cannon type of cop who is partnered with a veteran officer, played by Danny Glover.

While the film is no doubt a fun and wild action movie, Capricorns would not stand for the deranged antics of Gibson's Martin Riggs. Capricorns don't like foolishness and mayhem but that's all that Riggs brings to the table.
