90 Day Fiancé: Geoffrey Comes Clean to Varya's Family about Criminal Past

Current star of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Geoffrey Paschel finally came clean to Varya about his criminal history. Then, it was time for him to come clean with her mother and brother. The family was taken aback by his admission of guilt and told Varya to leave Geoffrey (and her American dream) behind.

The current season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is still airing new episodes and fans are having a rough time connecting with the cast this season. Many are unhappy with the casting of many of the couples. Audience members have tried to have Geoffrey Paschel removed from the show due to his lengthy criminal background, but the Knoxville native is still going strong.

He had kept the secret of his stint in prison for drugs and pending charges from his fiancée for most of their relationship, but finally decided it was time to tell his soon to be Russian bride. Varya, who works as a DJ in Russia, had no idea who exactly she was dating but once told she immediately questioned Geoffrey’s motives. The couple made the decision that the landlord would have to explain his past to her mother but in a surprise twist, Varya’s brother also showed up. Viewers watched as Geoffrey said his peace in English while Varya translated the uncomfortable news into Russian.

Right away, the face on her mother changed and she began to get angry. She told her daughter that the “fairy tale” was over as she knew the American had been hiding information from them. Fans of the show were quick to point out that Geoffrey only mentioned his drug charges and not the pending abuse charges that multiple ex-wives have on him. Varya’s brother pointed out that Russians do not believe people can change. Geoffrey still tries to convince them that he is a better person. Varya, on the other hand, tells the cameras that she is no longer in a rush to move to America.

Fans breathed a huge sigh of relief after she said those words. It's possible that the Tennessee native found that it was easier to date women abroad as too many close to home knew about his criminal acts from the past. TLC viewers do not believe the couple has survived, as it would be hard for Geoffrey to become a sponsor for the K-1 visa due to his past hijinks. The TLC personality has also taken to his social media a lot to try and clear his own name by retelling his saga.
