Friends: 10 Girlfriends Of Ross And Joey That We'd All Love To Date

Ross- the divorce force liked to divorce women a lot. Ross got divorced thrice. With his last marriage, he tried to keep it a secret to his bride, Rachel. Ross would have kept it that way had she not picked his phone. His logic was he couldn't take another divorce. He knew he divorced a lot, didn't think he would divorce Rachel. Joey, on the other hand, may have opened his heart once or twice to Ursula, Kate, Cecilia, Rachel, and Erin. Joey, on the other hand, took no more than a shower to get over a relationship.

In between their divorces and flings, the two men dated some of the most sophisticated women. It wouldn't be a bad idea to enlist those women, now would it? Here are Ross and Joey's best girlfriends on Friends.

10 Ross: Julie

Julie seemed like a really nice person. She met Ross in China, but they knew each other from grad school. Julie was in charge of the dig, the big bone situation that had come up in China. Ross participated in the same. Ross and Julie were perfect for each other. They had similar interests. Had it not been for Rachel's interference, they would have probably made it.

Julie would be the best person to go out if one is looking for someone with similar interests or the same profession. She could be someone one could discuss their work with, their big career plans. Anyone lucky enough could also plan to buy a pet cat with her. For anyone who is an animal lover, Julie is definitely a keeper.

9 Joey: Cecilia Monroe

Cecilia Monroe played Jessica Lockhart on The Days of Our Lives. Cecilia was soon to be killed off of the show. Her brain was transplanted into Joey's Drake Ramoray. So Drake was really a woman in a man's body. After Cecilia came to know she was being written off The DOOL, she regretted staying back for twenty years. She could have explored the Mexican cinema.

Cecilia is a badass, a woman who's good at throwing drinks at other people's faces. Rachel had never seen her finish a beverage. How lucky do you have to be to date an actor you really admire and respect?

8 Ross: Charlier Wheeler

If there was one hot female paleontologist- Charlie was it. She was a fellow paleontology professor, a brilliant woman in her own right. She was fun to be around. Charlie was with Joey initially, she then moved onto Ross. Eventually, she went back to her ex-ex flame, Benjamin Hobart. Charlie's inclusion in Friends was a major step towards the political correctness of the show.

Who wouldn't want to be with Charlie? She's smart, well-read, she's beautiful. She may ditch you for an ex, but hey, she's a good companion.

7 Joey: Kate Miller

Joey met Kate Miller while doing Marshall Townend's play Boxing Day at Lucille Lortel Theatre. Even though Joey and Kate never dated each other, Joey did yearn to do so. Joey spent a major part of season 3 obsessed with Kate Miller. Kate was a total Yalie. That made her the smart, sophisticated woman, who laughed at soap opera actors. Joey and Kate had the night before she left off to Los Angeles to do General Hospital.

Why wouldn't Kate make for a great, partner? The headstrong woman who put her dreams ahead of everyone else. Ambitious men sure would love to take her out.

6 Ross: Rachel Green

Rachel took the longest time to get over Ross. She thought she had moved on after the breakup, but she really hadn't. Ross, on the other hand, loved her till the end of time. Fans could never figure out why the two of them didn't put their problems aside to be together.

Rachel is a strong, independent woman. The one who makes it on her own. She left a comfortable life to chase her dreams. She wasn't what people thought of her. Not at all a purse. She could be a shoe or a hat! Rachel and Ross were great friends before they became lovers. They are the perfect example of- from the friend zone to the end zone.

5 Joey: Lauren

Lauren met Joey while rehearsing Marshall Townend's play. The very same play that Kate Miller was a part of. Lauren was Kate's understudy. From her brief appearance on the show, fans could tell that Lauren really liked Joey. She even admired him. She believed in his acting skills and talents. But the show makers did her dirty. She was treated like a nobody after their gig ended.

How many women genuinely admire the guy for what they are? Lauren was a sweet girl, she really did think of Joey as a funny man and a good actor. Wonder why Joey wasn't more appreciative of her.

4 Ross: Emily Waltham

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Emily. Even when she asked Ross to get rid of everything that Rachel had ever touched. From Emily's point of view, you really couldn't blame her. She had been deceived by Ross, twice in a row. If anyone saw their husband taking off on their honeymoon with a woman he'd said her wedding vows to, they'd know.

Emily believed in Ross from the very beginning. She decided to move to a whole another country because of Ross. She asked the Londoners to go easy on Ross at the Rugby match. Emily is so a keeper. Most men would love to take the British chippy out.

3 Joey: Melanie

Melanie was the co-owner of a fruit basket company called 'The Three Basketeers.' So, she was an entrepreneur, quite above Joey's league. She was patient, loving and giving. To the point, she stuck with Joey for not going all the way with her. See, Joey had enrolled in a fertility study to make quick bucks. So he was forbidden from any sexual activity. Joey kept doing everything except that. Melanie pegged him as a giver.

Melanie liked to splurge on Joey. How many fruit baskets did she really send over as a sign of gratitude? Could Joey and Chandler have any more fruit? There ain't no shame for wanting someone to spoil you.

2 Ross: Celia

Call Celia the bug lady or the curator of insects, know that she's incredibly understanding and loving. Even when Marcel pulled on Celia's hair, she hung around for while at Ross's. It's not clear what happened between Celia and Ross. She did cuddle and snuggle with him though. Celia was a dirty talker. Guess she was bored with curating insects at the museum, so she looked for a fun relationship.

Who wouldn't want a woman like that? On a date night, the family pet instantly dislikes the woman. He grabs her by the hair, she's in a lot of pain. Yet, if she chooses to stay, she's a sport.

1 Joey: Erin

Erin and Joey are an example of how likes repel each other. Erin was the exact personification of Joey. Even though Joey wanted to give their relationship a chance, Erin just wasn't ready. Erin was the kind of person anyone's friends would love.

In the morning, Erin said yes to Rachel's offer for pancakes. She hung out with the girls, Phoebe and Rachel for the day. Later when the girl's shamed her, she took that in her stride and left quietly with Joey. Erin would be summed up as polite, fun and a non-committal woman. There are people who treasure these qualities in a woman.
