Hip Hop Legends Become Disney Animated Characters In Crazy Cool Art

One Disney animator decided to transform famous rappers into their own Prince Charming status animated characters. Disney is one of the greatest entertainment titans of all time. Top animators, performers, and designers dream their whole lives to work for the company, and Disney only hires the best of the best. Unfortunately, hundreds of these talented employees have been furloughed due to the international pandemic. This doesn't mean that they aren't putting their creativity to good use.

One Disney animator, Alex Alvarado, shared his own unique animated artwork on ArtStation. Alvarado previously mostly posted animated creations of classic Disney characters like Hades, Scar, Elsa, and Moana. He even created an animated version of Lebron James in the past. However, he has gained the most attention from his animated recreations of famous rappers. His first rapper transformation was Kendrick Lamar wearing a censored version of his iconic "DAMN." merchandise that reads "dang." Next came stunningly accurate, Disney-fied animations of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Tupac.

His rapper animations quickly gained traction. One user tweeted a picture of the animations and tagged Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and Lamar. Ice Cube responded directly to the image and expressed his admiration. Ice Cube's response tweet from two days ago has already received over 110K favorites and over 16K retweets. Fans have responded enthusiastically to the artwork. Some even pitched a Netflix show about the rappers using Alvarado's artwork. Other fans posted their own artwork and sketches based on the rappers and other artists.
