In a clip of Monday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined, 90 Day Fiancé alum Fernanda Flores is seen going on a virtual date with Bachelorette star Clay Harbor. Flores and her ex-husband Jonathan Rivera were fan favorites on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé, but finalized their divorce earlier this year. Harbor is a former NFL tight end, and has been single for some time.
Flores isn’t the only one to have a highly publicized reality TV show romance. After Harbor’s elimination from season 14 of The Bachelorette, which starred Becca Kufrin, he dated fellow Bachelor alum Angela Amezcua from Nick Viall’s season. The two dated for seven months and were a popular couple among fans of The Bachelor franchise. Their relationship ended in April 2019. They appeared in the same episode of season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise after their breakup for Krystal Neilson and Chris Randone’s on-screen wedding. Harbor had already moved on with his Bachelor in Paradise co-star Nicole Lopez-Alvar.
As reported by People, the clip of Flores and Harbor’s Zoom date shows the pair getting along well. Flores reveals that they met earlier this year and had a first date, but she felt that she wasn’t ready to start dating so soon after her divorce. They spent the night drinking wine, eating dinner and even virtually salsa dancing. Before the date, Flores is shown getting ready and admits to being a little nervous to see the hunky football player. She says she “forgot how to do this,” after burning herself on her curling iron.
Harbor and Flores met on social media, but both currently live in Chicago. Flores now lives with a roommate after her divorce. She has been optimistic about the end of her marriage on Instagram, writing, “Officially single! By forgiving and closing chapters you open your heart to more blessings to come in your way,” in a caption of a photo of her posing in front of the Chicago courthouse. Flores is excited about her date with Harbor as well, saying in the clip, “Clay is a guy I like a lot,” adding, “He’s so hot.” Harbor is equally excited, telling Flores over Zoom, “I’m looking forward to this dinner date.”
The reality stars’ future looks bright, and coronavirus doesn’t seem to be slowing their relationship down. On 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined, they’ll be one of the couples whose attraction is tested by the global pandemic. Hopefully they’ll be able to sit down for a real dinner date soon.
90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined airs Mondays at 9PM EST on TLC.
