The show Pretty Little Liars was full of mystery, friendships, drama, and, of course, love interests. From their initial crushes and their relationship mistakes to the people they ended up living happily ever after with, these girls had some adorable and amazing significant others throughout this story!
In fact… Some of these people were so awesome that fans surely dreamed about being with them themselves, now and then. On the other hand, though, there are some boyfriends and girlfriends who were less than desirable. Therefore, it’s time to cover five romantic partners from PLL we’d love to date and five who would make for one disastrous relationship.
10 Date: Toby
Obviously, Toby Cavanaugh is high up on this list, and he may have been the nicest character on the entire show! He was genuinely sweet and caring. He became a cop, making him even more of a valuable resource and a protector.
He was good with his hands, as he built Spencer a custom rocking chair and went on to build a house on his own. And he was fun to hang out with, meaning he would come with mornings full of snuggles and coffee and afternoons spent playing Scrabble.
9 Disaster: Noel
Noel Kahn was a popular guy at school who definitely was not bad to look at, with that killer smile and that perfect hair. At one point, he had a crush on Aria, and he ended up dating Mona.
However, he was not a good guy, he was on The A-Team, and he could not be trusted. Besides, being with him would have meant having to deal with his death, which was a bit traumatic.
8 Date: Caleb
Another main significant other on the show was Caleb Rivers; at first, he just seemed like the bad boy in town, but there was much more to this character.
For instance, his computer skills were very handy in his professional life and when it came to dealing with A. And he cared for his loved ones (namely Hanna) fiercely, proving over and over again that he would do anything to help and protect them.
7 Disaster: Ian
Spencer and Alison both had moments with Ian Thomas, and the appeal made sense: He was an older guy, he was attractive, he was a flirt, he was athletic, and he was even good enough for Melissa Hastings.
As a founding member of the N.A.T. Club, though, he did not seem like someone who would make a trustworthy boyfriend.
6 Date: Ezra
No one can forget about Ezra Fitz, who ended up being Aria’s English teacher… and then her husband. While he was not perfect and made his fair share of mistakes, he is another contender on this list.
From his skills in writing and his polished outfits, those button-up shirts looked good on this man, to his cool apartment, full of books, a typewriter, movie posters, and a ton of comfort, and his intense passion, he would make for a wonderful end game.
5 Disaster: Elliot Rollins
Before Ali and Emily got married, Ali tied the knot with Elliot Rollins… who was lying about his identity and so much more, like the fact that he had been in love with CeCe and was working with Mary Drake.
The reasons why this relationship would be a bad idea for anyone could go on and on and on.
4 Date: Mike
At one point, it was revealed that Hanna kissed Aria’s little brother, Mike, and later, Mona was in a serious relationship with this supporting character. Oh, and he wasn’t so little any longer; Mike enjoyed working out and staying in shape, and he really loved Mona.
With Aria’s blessing, this could really be something!
3 Disaster: Paige McCullers
One of Emily’s ex-girlfriends was Paige McCullers, and she was not a fan favorite? Why? Well, for starters, she started out as competition on the swim team and even tried to drown Em!
While their relationship may have improved, there always seemed to be issues surrounding this chick, putting her on the “disaster” list.
2 Date: Lorenzo Calderon
When time jumped forward and Alison was teaching at Rosewood, she met a cop named Lorenzo Calderon. He was cute, he wanted to get to know the real her, he had an impressive job… and she messed it all up.
Some fans would surely like the chance at a relationship with him, though!
1 Disaster: Wren Kingston
When Wren Kingston was first introduced, there were several traits to like, from his accent to his career. However, he was with Melissa Hastings, which made people question him, for sure.
As the story progressed, he ended up sharing kisses with both Spencer and Hanna, and then he fell for Alex Drake and became a diamond around her neck. He may have seemed dreamy, but if he liked Melissa and Alex and kissed multiple Liars, he may not be the one.
