An Amazon Prime Original, The Boys is a complete package. It's humorous, dark, romantic, and full of surprises. Only in the first eight episodes of the show, there were a lot of unpredictable moments and scenes. Without further ado, let's take a look at the ten scenes even fans didn't see coming from The Boys.

10 Dolphin's Rescue

The Deep seems to be in existential crises throughout the series. In one of the scenes, determined to prove his worth, he rescues a Dolphin from the clutches of a sea center. Then, while on the truck, he marvels in a conversation with the beautiful creative but when he applies a sudden break to the wheels, the Dolphin, tied at the back, flies in front of The Deep, breaking the front glass of the truck and lands on the road. In a saddening scene, the Dolphin is killed when another set of wheels drives on top of her, killing her and The Deep's heart.

9 Robin Blown To A Million Pieces

The whole plot of the series starts with an incredibly unpredictable and gruesome scene. Hughie's girlfriend, Robin suggests to him that they should move in and when the viewers settle down in a romantic mode, suddenly, Robin bursts into a million little pieces, while Hughie is left holding her arms. It was A-Train, who, literally, runs through Robin, killing her in an instant and as expected, Hughie is left stunned.

8 Popclaw Is Deadly

In an incredibly dark scene, Popclaw, A-Train's girlfriend, gets high on drugs to ease her personal problems. Then, when her landlord comes in asking for money, she manages to make her landlord accept sensual pleasure, instead.

In that very scene, Popclaw loses herself, which results in the landlord's head bursting (gross). The Boys watch it all on a camera they installed in the flat and they use it to their advantage.

7 Annie's Welcome

Annie's dream to be a part of The Seven is fulfilled when she is officially announced as Starlight. But, when she goes into the headquarters with The Deep, she turns her head, excited, looking at the things. And as soon as she turns her attention to The Deep, she is absolutely disgusted to find his shorts on his ankle. The Deep sexually harasses Annie on her first day. Imagine the impact that would have had on her mentally.

6 The Female's Introduction

The Female of the Species is locked away when The Boys first find her but when they see how deadly she is, they think that locking her was probably right. During a fight scene with Black Noir, Frenchie is saved by The Female as she takes the hits and is all set to die. But, her wounds heal instantly and Frenchie learns that she is a superhero, with healing powers, which makes her almost unkillable.

5 Homelander Doesn't Help

This is a scene that tells the viewers exactly how evil Homelander really is. He just doesn't care about doing good with his powers. When a plane is hijacked, Queen Maeve and Homelander are tasked to get them down safely. They enter the plane and while the hijackers are being killed by the "supes" (superheroes), Homelander accidentally kills the pilot as well. So, instead of saving someone through his flying powers, or calling for backup, he leaves the plane with Queen Maeve and in the end, the plane crashes, killing everyone aboard.

4 Mesmer's Death

Billy, while looking for revenge for his wife's disappearance (Homelander played a part in it), loses his sense of calmness. He becomes obsessed with bringing down the superheroes. So much so that when Mesmer (another Supe) informs Homelander about Billy's whereabouts, he is confronted by Billy in a washroom.

After some pep talk, Billy absolutely nails Mesmer to the ground, hitting him over and over. He killed him, just because Mesmer informed on him. The punishment didn't fit the crime and that's exactly what the makers wanted to tell the viewers. Billy isn't some hero who believes in justice, he's just like everyone else — selfish.

3 Homelander Kills Stillwell

Homelander and Madelyn Stillwell have a very complicated relationship. At one time, they seem to like each other, while at another, they are angry. In a scene that is really gruesome, Homelander goes to Stillwell's house as Billy holds her hostage. But what Billy doesn't know is that Homelander has finally understood how big of a liar Madelyn is. So, he looks her in the eye, and with his laser beams, he kills her, leaving the fans and Billy absolutely shocked.

2 Supes Are Made

At the start of the series, it is revealed that superheroes are born accidentally, or there are very few people with the genetic code material to have a specific superpower. So, imagine the surprise, when Billy discovers the truth about the "supes." He visits a lab in Vought and there he sees little babies, throwing laser beams from their eyes while Compound V is pumped into their veins. The Boys finally discover the sinister nature of the Vought company and so do the viewers.

1 Billy's Wife Is Alive

Billy finds closure at the very end of the series. Homelander, after killing Stillwell, reveals to Billy that his wife — Becca is alive and well. When an unconscious Billy wakes up after hearing the truth, he sees his wife, with a kid (Homelander's son).

This scene is surprising because, before this, the show makes it seem like Becca died while giving birth to Homelander's son. But that wasn't true at all, was it?
