There are numerous reasons why Too Hot to Handle's Harry and Francesca's marriage won't last. Sure, they're smitten now, but these two have overlooked a few glaring red flags that threaten their whirlwind romance.
During production on season 1 of Too Hot to Handle, Francesca and Harry fell in, then out, then back in "love" with each other. During their downtime, Francesca slipped into a quick fling with Haley Cureton, which ended shortly after their hookup cost the group a hefty chunk of change. When Francesca and Harry finally got back together, the relationship was tempted once again following Kori Sampson's addition to the cast. Kori set his sights on Harry's bombshell girlfriend and quickly asked her out on a date. Francesca eventually decided Harry was her guy, but it did open the door for doubt that these two were really falling hard for each other.
After leaving paradise, Harry and Francesca broke up with each other for a time. He went on to date other women, but got back together with Francesca months after their initial split. The couple realized they couldn't live without each other, which culminated in a surprise proposal on the reunion special. About their nuptials, Harry said: "Now we can move on, and go get married," he explained. "Francesca wants to get married. I'm not sure if she's dating me for the long haul or the citizenship into Australia. I'm not sure, but I'm willing to take the risk."

Therein lies another key issue: Neither of them seems to know if they're together for real or for show. Both appear to be taking the relationship one day at a time, which is smart, but they lack the type of plan a serious partnership would have at this stage. Most couples contemplating marriage have integrated their friends and families into the relationship. Serious couples have traveled together. Serious couples have a shorthand where communication is concerned. They've seen each other at their worst. They've even lived together under one roof. Harry and Francesca are a long-distance couple with very little time spent with each other under one roof. They've also made the unusual choice to speak openly about wanting to get married solely for the convenience of being in the same city. Officials are probably not going to get on board with that reasoning.
Perhaps the most scathing indictment against Harry and Francesca's union is the couple's seemingly abundant narcissism. This is a relationship that will find itself peppered with competition and mistrust as the months advance. If they are able to stay together for years, one of them will likely tire of the other, resulting in infidelity. After all, Harry dated other girls during their brief split. Meanwhile, these two weren't even together a solid month before Francesca gave into her attraction with Kori Sampson and went on a date with him. Clearly, they have a strong attraction to each other, but that's not worthy of a marriage... at least not yet.
