Black Panther’s T’Challa Covers Vogue Magazine In Awesome Fan Art

Awesome Black Panther fan art puts T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) on the cover of Vogue. Boseman made his MCU debut in 2016's Captain America: Civil Warbut it wasn't until Black Panther in 2018  that fans really got to learn about T'Challa and his world. Black Panther introduced audiences to the technologically advanced country of Wakanda, as well as the vibrant supporting characters that surround T'Challa. His first solo adventure saw him adapting to the role of king while combating outside forces who sought to come and upend Wakanda's way of life. While MCU movies have occasionally touched upon real-world issues, Black Panther especially delved into the effects of racism through its villain Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

T'Challa has since appeared in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgameand he'll next star in his second solo outing. Black Panther 2which was officially announced last year, is scheduled for release in May 2022. Plot details are still being kept tightly under wraps, but writer-director Ryan Coogler began working on the script last fall. Fans have been busy guessing which villain will go toe to toe with T'Challa in the sequel, with the most popular pick being Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Since his debut, T'Challa has become something of an icon within pop culture, as evidenced by this new piece of fan art from Doaly. The piece is a part of the ongoing Vogue Challenge on social media, which is putting the spotlight on Black photographers and models, and imagines a cover especially for the king of Wakanda. Check it out for yourself down below.

The past few weeks have seen a rise in the Black Lives Matter movement and the fight for an end to systemic racism, and some of the messages present in Black Panther remain as relevant as ever. Another recent piece of fan art has imagined T'Challa alongside other Black superheroes at a Black Lives Matter protest, further showing just how important he has become as a character. This extends beyond the real  world into the MCU as well, as T'Challa is poised to play a major role in the franchise going forward.

It's not yet clear what will bring the remaining MCU heroes together for their next team-up movie, but T'Challa will almost certainly be among those who suit up for Avengers 5Odds are, T'Challa's MCU future will become clearer after the arrival of Black Panther 2. That's still unfortunately two years away, but fans are eager to see what Coogler will come up with next.
