Mark’s Love Is Blind journey began and ended with Jessica. He appeared enamored with her right away, and stuck by her while she figured out her feelings for their other cast mate, Matt Barnett. The two ended up engaged after a bumpy ride in the pods, and the relationship only got more strained in the outside world. In Mexico on their post-pod vacation, it certainly seemed to viewers that Jessica still had a crush on Barnett. After flirty remarks made at Barnett’s birthday party, and a tiff with Barnett’s now wife, Amber Pike, the audience was convinced that there was no hope for Mark and Jessica. Meanwhile, Mark was seen playing the part of the lovesick, devoted fiancé. Viewers pitied Mark and wrote off Jessica as behaving irresponsibly and badly towards him. Due to recent news however, it looks like Mark’s reputation for being the nice guy is gone for good.
Lauren “LC” Chamblin, another Love Is Blind cast member, recently revealed that she and Mark had been dating for the past few months. She discovered a woman who said her friend was dating Mark on Reddit, and realized she was being two-timed. LC commented on the Reddit post, confirmed her identity and asked the woman to DM her on Instagram. “I really do appreciate you posting this and saving me the energy on dating another liar,” she replied to the Reddit thread. She explained in a statement to People that she and Mark had discussed being exclusive, in particular because of COVID-19. Mark has denied that the two were an exclusive couple, and wished her the best in a statement.
But LC isn’t the only one making cheating claims; Jessica has now revealed that Mark was cheating on her during the filming of Love Is Blind. A personal trainer, Mark was allegedly sleeping with multiple female clients during the time he and Jessica were engaged. On Instagram, Jessica commented on a post alleging that Mark was sleeping with multiple other women, “Wow. News to me, I only knew about one.” After confirming the cheating rumors, she commented on another Instagram post, “Mark was sleeping with MULTIPLE women at the studio he trained at DURING the show.” She called out Netflix as well, continuing, “Maybe show those interviews with his workers next time @Netflix.” Jessica is undoubtedly frustrated with being portrayed as treating Mark badly when he was doing the same to her. Lucky for her, it seems that fans are now seeing Mark’s true colors.
Mark’s recent posts on Instagram have been bombarded with comments about the cheating allegations, which he has now repeatedly denied but not addressed directly through social media. He seems to be trying to brush everything under the rug, posting a workout video with no mention of LC or Jessica. But fans won’t let him get away that easily; the top comments on the post are all about the cheating rumors. One fan wrote, “We don’t want the workout vids, tell us about your cheatdays!!” Mark’s reputation is quickly going south, and we’ll all be waiting for his response.
