Vanderpump Rules: Who’s The Worst Couple? Ranked | ScreenRant

No one would have guessed that a show about a restaurant and its workers would go on to last eight seasons and creating a massive fanbase. With restaurateurs and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumnus Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd at the head of Vanderpump Rules, fans followed the insane lives of the bartenders and waiters at SUR.

Over the past eight seasons, we've seen couples break up, make up, and quit SUR altogether. But we've also seen engagements, marriages, and a whole lot of cheating accusations. With season eight's reunion special recently airing, let's take a look at some of the couples and well they're liked.

9 Lisa Vanderpump & Ken Todd

Lisa and Ken may not be in the dining room serving the food or behind the bar making the drinks, but they are part owners of SUR and TomTom. You could say they're the fairy godparents of the cast; the ones who keep them in check and bring them down to reality when their life spins out of control.

With Lisa and Ken being the brains behind the operation, they deserve a spot on this list. They've been married for almost 40 years and are totally capable of shelling out relationship advice to the cast when need be. No matter who comes in and out of SUR, Lisa and Ken will always be number one.

8 Stassi Shroeder & Beau Clark

Stassi is another cast member who has been apart of Vanderpump Rules from the beginning. We've seen her in every possible form. We saw her get over Jax, move to New York with a new boyfriend (before breaking up and moving back to the West Coast), write a book, and now she's with Beau.

Oddly enough, Kristen introduced the two and they have been inseparable. He's the adorable breath of fresh air Stassi (and the show) needed. By the end of season eight, the two became engaged and are now planning their dream wedding.

7 Ariana Madix & Tom Sandoval

Ariana and Tom seem to completely even each other out. Ariana has been very open about her depression and mental health, and Tom has been a very open and loving partner to her through her dark times.

They started dating after Tom and Kristen broke up and just recently bought a house together. While many castmates and fans think Ariana and Tom judge others from their high horse, their one couple who appears solid, faithful, and in love no matter the situation.

6 Lala Kent & Randall Emmett

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett definitely had a rough start to their relationship as well. For starters, Randall is an older man in the entertainment industry who wasn't yet divorced from his wife and was the father to two young girls. When Lala started seeing Randall, she kept his identity on the DL in fear of rumors spreading.

However, it wasn't a good look for her when he gifted her a brand new car after sleeping with her. Not to mention he put her in one of his movies. It was almost like she was sleeping her way to the top. However, Randall and Lala have proven to be the real deal. The two now live together, are engaged, and Randall has become a solid part of the group.

5 Raquel Leviss & James Kennedy

Raquel and James had a rocky start to their relationship. By season eight, they've been together for four years now but their relationship has been plagued with consistent cheating rumors since the beginning. Now that James is sober, it seems like he and Raquel have never been better. In fact, without Raquel's help, James could still be spiraling downward.

To be fair to Raquel, she didn't know what she was getting into with James. She's been told for years that James was sleeping with other women and yet she stayed by her man. It obviously worked out because James now owes his life to her.

4 Kristen Doute & Brian Carter

Kristen Doute has been apart of Vanderpump Rules since its inception. She was a waitress and best friends with Stassi and Katie. But over time, Kristen's lies and secret life caught up with her. Her former relationship with Tom Sandoval fell apart and her friendship with Stassi and Katie was squashed.

By season eight, Kristen was back on with her on-again/off-again boyfriend Carter. The two clearly had their good times but couldn't make it work. By the time the reunion rolled around, they were back to being donezo.

3 Kate Maloney-Schwartz & Tom Schwartz

Katie and Tom have been together since the show began. Sadly, Tom appeared to have major commitment issues. No matter how much he loved and adored Katie, he continued to cheat on her and run from an engagement. Over time, Schwartz eventually proposed to Katie and the two got married... twice. But as much as these two have a very yin and yang relationship going on, there still seem to be issues under the surface. Recently in season eight, Tom said incredibly hurtful things to Katie after a prank involving a police officer offended her.

2 Dayna Kathan & Brett Caproni & Max Boyens

Season eight had a few newcomers to the show. One of them was Dayna, a waitress at Sur. At the start of the season, she was hooking up and dating TomTom's general manager Max, but after hearing about his rendezvous around LA, she quickly ended that relationship.

She then moved on to SUR's bartender, Brett. The only problem was that Brett and Max were close friends. What transpired was Dayna vs. Max, and Brett trying to tiptoe around everyone's feelings. It's not yet understood if Dayna and Brett are still hanging out but she and Max are definitely done.

1 Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor

Jax Taylor has always been the antagonist throughout Vanderpump Rules. He's a pathological liar and has major anger and commitment issues. Fans and castmates were confused and furious when Jax started dating southern belle Brittany because she was far too good for him. However, here we are. The two somehow put aside their differences, Jax stopped cheating, and they got married. Now the couple is talking about starting a family.

In season eight, the couple went head-to-head with the Toms but they stook together in unison. If anything, Brittany made Jax more likable but they're still hated by viewers because of Jax's past.
