RHONY: Ramona Singer Spotted Kissing Ex-Convict While On Date

Star of The Real Housewives of New York City Ramona Singer was spotted on a romantic date with finance executive and ex-convict Andrew Catapano Saturday night in the Hamptons.

The star of RHONY has been single since she and her ex-husband, Mario Singer, divorced five years ago while Bravo fans watched. The two have remained friendly (and even quarantined together) despite the fact that Ramona notoriously dates around on the show. Last year, Ramona revealed she forgave Mario for the sake of their daughter. Their divorce was finalized in 2016, but they were quarantining together in Boca Raton, Florida along with their 25-year-old daughter, Avery, until recently. Much of their family time was documented on Ramona and Avery's Instagram Stories. Whether watching Game of Thrones, reviewing old RHONY episodes, or eating home-cooked meals, the family seemed to have a good time.

Now, however, Ramona is back in New York and ready to make headlines. On Saturday, the DailyMail spotted the 63-year-old single reality star leaving the American Hotel Restaurant in Sag Harbor arm-in-arm with Andrew following a four-hour dinner. Ramona wrapped both her arms around Andrew and kissed him before they climbed into their waiting vehicle.

Catapano is a contractor who was sentenced to 10 months in jail in 2009 for bribing union officials and a Con Edison employee in a multimillion-dollar scam to cut costs for his Queens-based company, AFC. Ramona and Andrew were also photographed last October having drinks together in New York City, but Ramona told Page Six they were just friends. “He’s a family friend. Close to me, [daughter] Avery and [ex-husband] Mario. Not a date. Lol. Known him for 24 years. He’s like a brother.” Who knew Ramona had ties to crime?

Notably, neither Ramona nor her date were wearing masks amid the coronavirus pandemic. Perhaps costar Leah McSweeney's accusation that the reality star is not taking the worldwide pandemic "seriously" has some merit. Ramona and her daughter Avery both tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies, which indicates that a person has been exposed to the virus. While Ramona doesn't seem concerned about the pandemic, fans are certainly concerned with her dating life. Is it possible this is just another dinner between friends or has this friendship blossomed into something more?
