Teen Wolf: 5 Fights That Lived Up To Fans Expectations (& 5 That Let Them Down)

Although Teen Wolf is off the air, fans are still clamoring for more. Without any more episodes on the horizon, though, they can only reflect on the past.

Something the show was an expert at, was choreographing fight scenes. The adrenaline-fueled standoffs and brawls are trapped in fans' memories long after the show's end. Then there are those didn't live up to expectations.

10 Bad: Malia v. The Desert Wolf (S5 Ep20)

In season 5, the writers decided to finally introduce the Desert Wolf after spending years building up to the confrontation. Fans were hyped to see the pack face off against the Werecoyote, especially since she was meant to be Beacon Hills' next big bad. However, the fans were quite disappointed by the way the writers executed the storyline.

Although she is classed as a major villain, Corrine only appeared in a few episodes and spent most of her time chasing Malia. Considering she was meant to this top-assassin, Corrine was too easily defeated by Malia and Braedan.

9 Good: The Pack v. The Berserkers (S4 Ep12)

Ever since it was revealed that Kate Argent had survived Peter's attack, fans couldn't wait to see the Werecoyote face-off against Scott and his pack. Everyone knew this was going to be an epic showdown as many remembered how she behaved when she had unfinished business. As expected, the season 4 finale did not disappoint.

Not only did Kate form an unlikely partnership with Peter but fans also saw her transform Scott into a Berserker. The battle got more exciting when Chris and the other hunters joined the fight. Ultimately, fans were satisfied with the ending as the pack and the hunters are victorious.

8 Bad: Theo v. The Pack v. Sebastien (S5 Ep20)

Most fans will agree that season 5 was a little bit disjointed when it came to the season's big bad. With the writers including the Dread Doctors, Theo, the Desert Wolf, and Sebastien, it felt like they had crammed too many villains in a short space of time. It also seemed strange that they would all come to a climax in the final episode.

The best bit about the episode was that the writers finally resolved the Parrish/Hellhound mystery and saw Kira return. Other than that, this fight didn't have much of an impact on fans since Sebastien wasn't exactly the scariest villain.

7 Good: Allison's Last Stand (S3 Ep23)

In season 3, fans were taken aback when Allison was killed by the Nogitsune. As everyone knows, Scott and his pack arrive at Oak Creek to rescue Lydia from the Nogitsune and Oni. It seemed that the pack had a massive breakthrough as Allison manages to kill one of Oni.

However, before she can celebrate, Allison is then killed by one of the other Oni as it runs her through with his sword. Although a devastating loss, it was the only ending the writers could come up with that would allow Crystal Reed to leave and not undermine her character development. By all means, it was the right call as Allison died a hero.

6 Bad: Showdown With Peter (S1 Ep12)

Although Peter spent most of season 1 tormenting Derek, Scott, and all their friends and family, the final showdown was a bit disappointing. With Peter being the Alpha, fans believed it would have been hard to kill him. However, it was quite the opposite...

In the daftest way possible, Peter stupidly caught a Molotov cocktail that blew up in his hand when Allison shot at it. Considering how conniving and powerful Peter was, it doesn't seem right that he would make such a stupid mistake. It just felt underwhelming.

5 Good: The Pack v. The Ghost Riders (S6 Ep10)

With the supernatural creatures able to erase people from existence, the Ghost Riders were one of the more intriguing antagonists. Managing to take Stiles, Hayden, and Peter, the fans couldn't wait to see the final confrontation between the pack and the Riders.

By the tenth episode, this arc came to a climax as Garrett attempted to erase Beacon Hills from existence altogether. Although they were outnumbered, Scott's pack managed to come out victorious as they avoided the disaster while Garrett was turned into a Rider.

4 Bad: Scott's Pack v. The Alphas v. The Darach (S3 Ep12)

In the first part of season 3, Scott's pack had a huge battle on their hands when the Darach and the Alphas came to Beacon Hills. With the villains racking up a massive body count, the pack had their work cut out for them as the feud between the two entities grew.

Ultimately, this feud came to a climax in the twelfth episode. However, it wasn't in the way everyone expected. After weeks of torment and chaos, it seemed unfair that Deucalion was let go and Jennifer got a simple death. Scott's pack should have had a bigger role in the fight, too, instead of being sidelined with rescue duty.

3 Good: The Pack v. Beacon Hills (S6 Ep20)

In the second half of season 6, battle lines were drawn as the residents of Beacon Hills decided they wanted to rid the town of the supernatural. This meant that the viewers saw the return of Kate, Gerard, Deucalion, Jackson, and Ethan - who were all determined to ensure their sides came out on top.

By far, this was one of the more entertaining fights as fans saw a couple of great sequences - including Sheriff Stilinski taking down three deputies and Scott's battle with the Anuk-ite. Even Gerard met his maker after trying to kill Kate.

2 Bad: Gerard & The Kanima v. The Pack (S2 E12)

Although Gerard is probably the best villain on the show, his first showdown with the pack was one of the worst fight scenes. After Gerard killed Matt, the viewers were worried when Gerard became the Kanima's new master. With Gerard being more ruthless than Matt, fans expected an epic showdown to come.

However, this didn't happen. After five minutes of fighting, the confrontation was over. Compare it to the hostage situation in episode ten, this was severely disappointing for a final showdown.

1 Good: The Pack v. The Oni (S3 Ep24)

After Allison's death, fans were more than ready to see the Nogitsune meet his maker. The pack worked fast to come up with a plan, with Chris and Isaac going to retrieve Allison's arrowheads while Derek collected the triskelion container.

While Chris and the other betas held the Oni off, Scott's pack decided to confront the Nogitsune and end its reign once and for all. Ultimately, the pack got the upper-hand when they trapped the Nogitsune in the triskelion container. It was just a shame Aiden didn't survive...
