The Bachelor: What Happened to Brad Womack & Is He Married?

The Bachelor - Greatest Seasons Ever! returned to TV on Monday, this time focusing on Brad Womack, the only two-time lead of the show. Brad failed to find love in both attempts, but has he now found a wife?

Brad was one of the first leads of the show to really draw the ire of fans when he selected no one in Season 11. It was only four seasons later that he was brought back as The Bachelor once more. He didn't have a strong connection with any of the women in his second time out either. He eventually chose Emily Maynard, a woman he had a clear physical attraction to but lacked a deep emotional bond. They had broken up before the After the Final Rose ceremony, but got together briefly before calling it quits altogether. It was controversial to bring Brad back in the first place, since many felt he wasted his first opportunity. The decision certainly wouldn't be met well today, as fans have been more outspoken about casting more diverse leads. However, some have said that Hannah Brown deserves a second chance as The Bachelorette. She was reportedly in consideration before the show went with Clare Crawley - a wise choice.

According to Life & Style Magazine, Brad, 47, is currently single. It is entirely possible he wants to keep any love interest out of the public eye, since he has had enough of his dating life shown to the world. He is not on social media, which is the case for many of the earlier Bachelors. The most elusive of the bunch has been Alex Michel, whose season aired on a previous episode of The Bachelor - Greatest Seasons Ever!

It's possible Brad just wasn't meant to get married. If he couldn't find a lasting relationship in two seasons of The Bachelor, he might be better off as a bachelor in real life. He hasn't been back on The Bachelor in any of its spin-offs, appearing to be content to distance himself from the show. It would be interesting to see Brad on a season of Bachelor In Paradise, especially since he's now nearly twice the age of most of the contestants. It would likely end poorly for him.

When Brad's season re-airs, women will be reminded of the fact that he wasn't open enough with DeAnna and Jenny in his first season. They will see how he struggled to connect with many of the women on a deeper level in his return. And although he didn't find love, countless men will remain jealous that he was able to be The Bachelor not once, but twice.
