Which How To Get Away With Murder Character Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

The characters in How to Get Away With Murder are not only diverse in terms of privilege, but also in terms of experience — making each of them a phenomenally unique prototype. Though all of them embark on the same journey, and support each other when problems arise, the way they perceive and react to events is shaped by their own separate realities.

Keeping all of this in mind, the main characters of this show have been aligned with the sign of the Zodiac that coordinates best with their personalities. Please note that this list contains spoilers for the recently released final season.

12 Aries - Laurel Castillo

The aura of mystery that surrounds Laurel Castillo is intentional, given her desire to keep her own counsel (and not be judged by her friends for her family history.)

Being an Aries, she certainly knows how to take charge of her life, as well as others', for example when she basically solved half the problems that Wes was grappling with. At the same time, Laurel can behave impulsively, but this doesn't mean she's a rash person for putting the safety of Christopher above everyone else.

11 Taurus - Tegan Price

Tegan Price is a go-getter — from passing the bar at the "genius-ly young age of 22" to becoming one of the finest lawyers at the prestigious law firm of Caplan & Gold.

She is a bit impatient, for instance when wanting to confess her feelings for (and to) Annalise, but the Taurus in her helps her wait for the right time before letting the love of her life find out. Tegan's dedication to her profession is surpassed only by her guilt at allowing herself to work for Jorge Castillo.

10 Gemini - Connor Walsh

The Gemini sign blesses those born under it with inordinate amounts of flexibility, but Connor employs this to perform worse and worse acts (and atones for them by blaming Annalise.)

He is both smart and sociable, a rare combination of traits that makes his partner, Oliver Hampton, terribly insecure. Connor has a temperamental mood, often swinging from extreme depression to anxiety to a creepy sense of calm without any reason or explanation half the time.

9 Cancer - Asher Millstone

In a totally unexpected twist, the only white male character in the Keating group is also the most sensitive — although this development takes some time and considerable effort on Michaela's part. Being a Cancer, Asher's emotional state of mind is heavily dependent on the bonds formed between his family and his friends.

This is the obvious explanation as to why he chooses his mom and sister over his trauma buddies; however, he still leaves Michaela a heartfelt video note, proclaiming his love for her.

8 Leo - Michaela Pratt

Naturally confident, Michaela is a classic Leo in that she is on the lookout for higher and higher levels of power. Michaela tends to ignore Annalise's warnings, believing mostly in her own moral compass.

While her ambitions are admirable, her need to be the star of the show outweigh her closest relationships. In the final moments of the series finale, she is shown being sworn in as a judge, her dream job, but misses Annalise's funeral because she has lost her friends.

7 Virgo - Sam Keating

Sam Keating gives off strong Virgo vibes: a calm demeanor that barely masks the virulent undercurrents of self-loathing that swirl below the surface. He uses his vast intellect and psychology degree to manipulate the people he has a duty towards, even more than his patients, such as Annalise, Frank, Bonnie, Lila and many more.

It is later explained that his childhood was marred by more than just neglect, especially when the sexual relationship between him and his sister is uncovered, but this is certainly not enough to excuse him.

6 Libra - Nate Lahey

The ethical strength with which Nate Lahey, Jr. conducts all of his responsibilities categorizes him as the most balanced of all the signs: the Libra. The problem, however, is when he seeks justice for the murder of his father, which is when he seems to lose all his composure and neutrality.

This evident when he kills poor DA Ronald Miller without any proof that he was involved in Nate Lahey Sr.'s shooting. Nevertheless, he is the least judgmental character in the show, and one of the few people that Annalise was comfortable being vulnerable with.

5 Scorpio - Annalise Keating

Shakespeare said that "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," but he was indulging in the misogynistic assumption that women only lash out when it has to do with men. Annalise's attitudes were, initially, reflection of this thought, but she grows out of it during the course of the show — metamorphosing into her real self, natural hair and all, by the final season.

She further exhibits the burning loyalty Scorpios show towards the people they want to protect, and goes as far as maligning her name and career in order to get her "kids" out of trouble.

4 Sagittarius - Oliver Hampton

Oliver is honest to a fault, freely admitting to Connor that his HIV test came back positive (this only makes their relationship stronger.) Most Sagittarius folk have a slight bent towards being self-centered, and he is no exception, for example, when he threatens Connor with divorce if he doesn't accept the FBI offer.

In many cases, Oliver has put himself in jeopardy like when he foolishly admits to a crime he never commits, just so he can get Connor out of prison. Obviously, this just makes it worse for everyone.

3 Capricorn - Frank Delfino

As a member of the most determined Zodiac sign, Frank sees no barriers as being too high for him to cross. He is ready to do anything the Keatings tell him, whether it's murdering Lila Stangard or framing Nate for Sam's death.

Frank is aware of the immorality of his actions, but that's just how much he worships Annalise. Whatever the situation, he is at hand to offer his assistance in any way necessary.

2 Aquarius - Bonnie Winterbottom

As an Aquarius, Bonnie conducts her life with consideration for other people, mostly Frank and Annalise (and, by extension, the Keating minions.) She is one of the few characters who offers warnings to others as to the consequences of their plans, but has been known to take a life or two when required.

Considering the horrors of her early life, all Bonnie wants to do now is to escape with Frank, preferably a balmy location where they can be together without more misery being added into their lives.

1 Pisces - Ophelia Harkness

Ophelia Harkness' gentle nature and kindness are a result of her hard life; she comprehends that the only things worth maintaining are loving relationships with her family.

This is why she returns to her husband, Mac, in her old age, basically telling Annalise that their renewed courtship is based on consent, and therefore none of her daughter's business. Ophelia's other Pisces traits include her generosity, offering warmth and welcome to anyone who happens to meet her.
