Yet another 90 Day Fiancé love story ends in divorce. Jorge Nava has filed the paperwork to initiate a separation from estranged wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko. The 90 Day Fiancé couple have been married for three years but had parted ways when Jorge went to prison two years back.
Jorge, from Riverside, California and Anfisa from Moscow featured as a couple on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé. Fans of the TLC show can never forget the epic tiff the couple had after Jorge couldn’t give Anfisa a $10000 handbag. The two who had met on Facebook still got married in a simple courthouse wedding much to the dislike of Anfisa. 90 Day Fiancé fans deduced that she was materialistic and vain, but then things went way down the hill for Jorge. After having been found with 293 pounds of marijuana in his car in February 2018, Jorge was charged with possession of drugs with the intention to sell. This led to him being sentenced to 2.5 years in prison starting September 2018. The bright side of it was when Jorge lost a whopping 128 pounds while he did time, but the downside was as he claims, his wife Anfisa leaving him because of it. Anfisa “ran off” with a new man and Jorge was released in May with a brand new lease of life. The 90 Day Fiancé celeb used his newfound physique and fame to even launch a clothing line, but he was technically still married to his estranged wife. But it seems like Jorge has decided to end the tumultuous reality show relationship by filing for divorce.
According to TMZ, Jorge Nava marked his three-year anniversary of being married to Anfisa by filing the paperwork in Arizona this week. He had been planning to take this step right after his wife abandoned him during his prison stint and has listed down November 19 as the date of separation in his documents. The 90 Day Fiancé alum cites irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. The couple does not share any children together neither is there any mention of property or debts, as per the report.
This piece of breaking news comes right after Jorge posted PDA pictures of him with a new girlfriend on his Instagram. Possibly captured during a romantic beach trip, Jorge captioned the post with “Summer Vibes.” The mystery woman who goes by the name R Blua has also made an appearance on the 90 Day Fiancé star's Instagram profile in June in a post where he claimed he was “blessed” in her company.
Meanwhile, Anfisa who used her post 90 Day Fiancé fame to become a personal trainer has also shared her thoughts on the divorce. She spoke to InTouch where she said, “I knew I had to end it and it would be better for the both of us, so Jorge and I talked about it and mutually decided to part ways a few months ago and agreed to divorce once he’s released.” Anfisa was in the news for dating Leo Assaf but if reports are to be believed, has split from him in July due to his disloyalty.
