Monique from The Real Housewives of Potomac bashes Gizelle's ex for cheating and Monique is fighting back. There does not seem to be any love lost between the two women.
RHOP is the newest addition to Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, with fans waiting anxiously for its return. The spin-off debuted in 2016 and since then, the Housewives have been fighting it out for the title of 'top Housewife'. The cameras are set up to follow around the ladies, who live on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., as they go about their daily lives, So far, the RHOP drama has been off the charts. The show includes every kind of excitement; in the last season alone, past loves rekindled the flame and old friendships fell apart, leaving bitter rivalries in their place. Monique Samuels has been in the headlines for her throwdown with Candiace Dillard Basset, but now it looks like she as a few choice words for Gizelle Bryant.
Fans have a strong feeling that the women are trying their best to push Monique out... and they're not having it. Many feel that Giselle's over-the-top antics bring nothing positive to the franchise and ultimately only succeed in leaving a trail of carnage behind her. After last night’s episode, Monique decided to throw some shade towards Jamal Bryant, Gizelle’s ex-husband and now boyfriend. Monique Samuels got harsh on social media. Judging by Gizelle's latest Insta post below, she is handling the shade just fine...
Throughout the Housewives episodes, Gizelle has always referred to Monique’s husband, Chris Samuels, as a "big boy." Although the nickname isn't completely untrue (Chris is a former NFL offensive tackle), the connotations behind the nickname seem to be insulting. This is why Monique has not taken kindly to her castmates name-calling. Many viewers feel that Gizelle has no leg to stand on since Jamal cheated on her in their marriage. Monique took to Twitter to clap back, saying, "If she’s going to keep referring to my grown a** MAN of a husband as “big boy,” then I’ll refer to her boyfriend as Pastor Holy Wh*re." Jamal is a well-known pastor down in Atlanta and currently is trying to work out a long-distance relationship with his ex-wife.
The queens of shade look like they have buckled themselves in for the long haul. The rest of the season looks like it will be a doozy, thanks to yet another Housewives cheating scandal from Ashley Darby’s husband... and Karen Huger’s marriage going down the drain. Fans are preparing themselves for more drama like Monique and Candiace’s electric fight that ended up with charges being pressed. Although there's loads of juicy drama yet to come, Bravo fans are already calling for Monique to be seated at the right hand of Andy Cohen at the reunion, claiming that she is carrying the season thus far.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sunday at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
