10 Guilty Pleasure TV Shows To Watch If You Like The Real Housewives

Of all the guilty pleasures available in the world of pop culture, The Real Housewives is at the top of many people's lists. The big-city settings feature uber-wealthy women who fight over everything and have the best clothing, houses and cars that money can buy. Time and time again, viewers are amazed, entertained and even shocked by what they see in each episode.

Fans can check out some fun, light-hearted films that tackle some similar ideas to the Real Housewives, but there are also many TV shows that are perfect for viewers of the Bravo franchise. These all fall under the category of "guilty pleasure," and they're so juicy that it will be impossible to stop watching, whether the show is a comedy, drama, or another entry in the reality genre.

10 Southern Charm

Southern Charm teaches viewers a lot and it's just as much of a juicy binge-watch as the Real Housewives franchise. Charleston, South Carolina is the most pristine, gorgeous setting that a reality show could have, and this friend group has money and a love for partying, which is a good combination — at least when it comes to reality TV.

With six seasons so far, there are plenty of episodes for reality fans to settle into — maybe with a glass of rosé. The title is perfect as it describes beautiful Charleston and also the pressures that the cast members feel to appear perfect and proper.

9 Jersey Belle

This Bravo series only got one season, but it's got a lot going for it. All eight episodes aired on the network back in 2014 and follow Jaime Primak Sullivan, a publicist who lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

What elevates this show and makes it super enticing is that Jaime is a Jersey girl who finds herself living in the South because she fell in love, got married, and started a family there. Just like the Housewives, this series sees Jaime dealing with work, family, and her close friendships. It's also hilarious watching Jaime with her prim and proper friend group, as her brash but loving personality wins them over.

8 Sweet Magnolias

Before season two of Sweet Magnolias, binge-watching the first season is a total must for anyone in need of a guilty pleasure.

Not only are the storylines dramatic, as Maddie (Joanna Garcia Swisher) and her best friends search for happiness while dealing with tumultuous personal lives, but the characters are just as close as any Housewives friend group.

7 Odd Mom Out

Bravo moved into fictional programming with Odd Mom Out, a comedy series that was given three seasons.

Jill Kargman stars in this adaptation of her novel, Momzillas, and it tells the story of a cool, outspoken mother trying to navigate the wealthy parenting scene in Manhattan. Fans of the Real Housewives will be all too familiar with people who constantly try to one-up each other.

6 Dynasty

The reboot of Dynasty has many wild moments, and it's a must-watch for Real Housewives fans in need of a new TV obsession.

The 1980s series told the story of the Carrington family, and the reboot follows Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies) and her wealthy relatives. Just like the housewives fight and manipulate each other, none of these characters can be trusted, and they're constantly eyeing each other up and trying to figure out their next move.

5 Desperate Housewives

Many characters died on Desperate Housewives, but besides the devastating moments that have made fans cry, the majority of the storylines are like that of a soap opera: addictive, dramatic, and juicy.

Following a group of close friends who all live on the same street, the show proves that even people who seem to have everything can struggle. That's true of the housewives as well, as the women have had their share of tough times.

4 Ladies Of London

Like the Real HousewivesLadies Of London shares the real life stories of well-to-do women. The series aired on Bravo for three seasons and featured beautiful, stylish and wealthy cast members who didn't always get along.

It's the perfect guilty pleasure for someone who already loves the reality TV genre and doesn't mind when dinner parties or trips become the settings for major arguments.

3 Selling Sunset

Want the drama and fighting of the Real Housewives but set in the world of real estate? Check out Netflix's hit reality series Selling Sunset.

The cast members of the Bravo franchise would definitely want to live in the mansions that these real estate agents try to sell, as these are homes for the truly wealthy who want to live in the lap of luxury.

2 Revenge

While Revenge has dull plots at times, the show still earns its place in the category of guilty pleasures.

Emily/Amanda (Emily Van Camp) is a young woman pretending to be a member of the same social class as the Grayson family. Fans of the Real Housewives will enjoy getting a look at how wealthy people live in the Hamptons, especially fans of RHONY who have watched the women vacation at their beach homes. There are twists and turns, intrigue, and a lot of clever quips.

1 Big Little Lies

The Big Little Lies characters fascinate viewers, and Reese Witherspoon in particular does a great job portraying Madeline, a wealthy woman trying to keep her seemingly perfect life together.

If the Real Housewives was fictionalized and added a murder mystery, it would be easy to see this HBO series being the result. The main characters all try to keep up appearances and they don't always seem like they're as good friends as they pretend to be.
