Deadpool's Body Is A Literal Bomb | Screen Rant

Thanks to  Deadpool's healing factor, he can survive almost anything. And when the malicious symbiote Carnage attempts to rip out his spine, he discovers that Wade Wilson is willing to booby-trap his own body in order to kill him.

Deadpool is not only one of Marvel's funniest characters, he is also one of the most dangerous, as he always finds a way to survive scenarios that should leave him dead. Besides from being almost invulnerable, Deadpool can also use his body as a means of killing people - like the time he killed someone by shooting a bullet from his chest. And when it comes time to save his pal Spider-Man from the clutches of Cletus Kasady - a.k.a. Carnage - DP manipulates his body once more... and it's painful to watch.

In Frank Tieri, Marcelo Ferreira, Jack Jadson, Roberto Poggi, Rachelle Rosenberg, and Joe Sabino's Absolute Carnage vs. Deadpool Vol. 1 #3 Deadpool and his best-pal Spider-Man team up once again to stop the Church of the New Darkness (a symbiote cult) from ripping out Deadpool's spine so that Carnage can use it as a means of resurrecting the symbiote God a.k.a. Knull. But when the Church of the New Darkness captures Spider-Man and delivers him to Carnage, Deadpool agrees to sacrifice himself in order to save his friend. After dropping Spider-Man on the ground, Carnage reaches for Deadpool's back and begins to rip off his flesh. And while Carnage is ripping out Deadpool's spine, he finds something tucked inside that he does not expect... some dynamite with a little note that says, "Goes the Dynamite." After taking a quick look at the bomb, Carnage curses and Deadpool's body explodes.

Because the explosion occurs within Deadpool's body, one would expect him to be dead. Instead, he survives another extreme death as his legs are blown off and are sticking to the ceiling above him. After Deadpool and Spider-Man see a couple Carnage doppelgangers emerge from the smoke around them, Spidey swings to safety, with Wade clinging to his back like a backpack. A few weeks later, Spider-Man is still taking care of Deadpool - and is even baking him brownies until his legs grow back. Funny thing is, they grew back a couple days after the explosion...

There is no doubt that Deadpool's healing factor is a gift, one that allows him to manipulate his body in both disturbing and comical ways. But it's also funny how Spider-Man is completely unaware of how quickly Deadpool can grow back his limbs - especially when one considers the fact that Spider-Man has seen him without his legs before in Spider-Man/Deadpool #1.
