Walking Dead Streaming Channel Coming To IMDb TV With New Content

The Walking Dead is coming to IMDb TV in the near future. The massively successful post-apocalyptic zombie TV show first started back in 2010. It's since spawned multiple spin-off shows, webisodes, and numerous parodies and spoofs.

While The Walking Dead has been praised by critics and fans alike, the show's 11th season will be its final one. Although many of the characters that started off in the original premiere have long since died, The Walking Dead has continued its long-running tradition of following the stories of multiple characters. While the end is in sight for this zombie-filled powerhouse, there are still multiple storylines that need to be wrapped up before the end, including further explanation about the Commonwealth, Georgie's community, Maggie's decision to leave Hilltop, Daryl and his relationship with Connie, and what will happen to Ezekiel.

Although The Walking Dead will be ending soon, Deadline reports that "The Walking Dead Universe Experience" will be available for fans to stream on IMDb TV. The channel will be filled with content from The Walking Dead, including full-length episodes from the show. In addition, the channel will house a wealth of exclusive content as well, such as "never-before-seen behind the scenes footage, bonus content, [and] cast interviews." Fans will also have the opportunity to check out related programming, with Fear the Walking Dead included among the expected line-up.

The Walking Dead isn't the only programming that's coming to IMDb TV. For starters, IMDb TV's partnership with AMC expands to six different linear channels, which is exciting news for any fans of AMC's shows. IMDb TV's network set-up means that fans of both The Walking Dead and any other applicable shows can stream their favorite content whenever they want, albeit at the time cost of having to watch advertisements. Regardless, while a few ads here and there can be annoying, it's something that most fans are willing to brave to have the all-immersive, zombie-filled viewing experience that "The Walking Dead Universe Experience" offers.

While The Walking Dead has gone through its fair share of ups and downs over the years, it will still be difficult to see such a long-running show come to an end. Still, the slew of streaming subscription platforms and a new priority on fan-focused content curation makes saying good-bye a bit easier. That being said, while IMDb TV's The Walking Dead channel won't launch quite yet, it's highly recommended that you run—not walk—to start watching right away when it does.
