Big Bang Theory: Main Characters Ranked From Most To Least Likely To Die In A Horror Movie

The main characters on The Big Bang Theory are an interesting bunch as the majority of them are highly intelligent. While Penny is ditzy and works at a restaurant instead of at a scientific research lab, the rest of the gang are total experts in their field.

It would be entertaining to see TBBT characters face a killer in a horror movie, as they would have some unique ways of making it through and dealing with the terrifying scene before them. Some seem like they would be taken down right away and others would be able to make it through to the final credits of the film.

10 Stuart Bloom

Stuart (Kevin Sussman) runs The Comic Center of Pasadena and since he's more of a minor character than the others on the show, he wouldn't last for the whole movie. Fans don't know a lot about him.

Stuart would likely die in his store and the scene would be terrifying, as he would be closing up the shop at night and would have no idea that he wasn't actually alone. This could even be the opening scene of the film, and it would set up the story well.

9 Howard Wolowitz

Because Simon Helberg's character Howard is such a mama's boy, he would be one of the most likely people to die in a horror movie. He might try to date using cheesy lines but he wouldn't be able to win against a killer.

While Howard might not die in the opening sequence, he wouldn't live much longer after that, and the killer would lure him in. It would be a pretty awkward scene, that's for sure.

8 Leslie Winkle

Leslie (Sara Gilbert) would be pretty likely to die in a horror movie, as her tragic scene would take place in the lab where she usually spends her time. She would be working on an experiment and the killer would come up behind her. She might even think that they were a fellow scientist at first and then she would realize way too late that her time was up.

Leslie also isn't the nicest person, as she's mean to Sheldon, so if TBBT characters were in their own horror movie, no one would really mind if she was one of the first to go.

7 Amy Farrah Fowler

Amy (Mayim Bialik) would definitely think that she would survive a horror movie. She would be overly confident and she would end up missing a critical piece of information that would result in her death.

Amy's character improves on the show and her death would be an unexpected one, so that's one reason why the writers of a horror movie about the Big Bang Theory gang would pen this type of scene for her. Because Amy comes up with a way for her to get married to Sheldon in five years, she would assume she could make a similar plan here, but it wouldn't work.

6 Raj Koothrappali

Raj (Kunal Nayyar) is sweet and definitely the most nervous character on the show. He would face the killer and immediately freak out, worrying about not being able to run away fast enough. He would get so scared that his chances of survival would be totally doomed.

Raj is just as smart as Amy, Leslie, and Howard, so he might fare a little better than them and live a bit longer, but he might not make it to the very end of the film.

5 Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz

Although Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) can be a strange character, she's very popular and her smart personality is welcome.

Whether working at the Cheesecake Factory or becoming involved in the scientific field, Bernadette displays intelligence and a sassy, passionate personality. She would try her best to fight off a killer and has a 50/50 chance of survival. She might be able to win one battle but might not win the second one in the movie if the killer came after her a few times.

4 Emily Sweeney

Laura Spencer's character, Emily, messages Raj on a dating website and he is intimidated and freaked out by her but he likes her at the same time.

Emily would survive a horror movie as she's a lot tougher than the other characters. She can hold her own and even though she and Raj hate the movie "House of 1000 Corpses" when they watch it in a season seven episode, she could still plan a grand escape if something or someone was coming after her. Emily has a super strong personality and seems like she wouldn't back down or accept that she could die.

3 Leonard Hofstadter

Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is just as intelligent as Sheldon and because he's so in love with Penny, they would most likely team up and stick together for the whole horror movie.

Leonard has his character flaws and yet he's always a likable person, so fans would want to see him survive the movie, and there's a good chance that he would manage to live. He could find some strength within himself that he wasn't aware that he had and get caught up in a chase and fight scene that would be thrilling to see.

2 Sheldon Cooper

Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is the smartest character on the show, which is saying a lot since most of the characters are brilliant. Fans love his funny sayings and his unique outlook on the world.

Sheldon would definitely survive a horror story, as he would analyze what was going on really fast and then figure out how to beat the killer at their scary game. He would be confident and convinced that he could handle whatever was thrown his way, and it would be an inspiring and empowering character arc.

1 Penny

Horror movies need to have a relatable character who the audience can become invested in. For the Scream franchise, it's Sidney Prescott, who is thankfully going to be in Scream 5She is living with a brutal family tragedy and doing her best to move forward and she gives the movies some emotion.

Penny (Kaley Cuoco) is the most relatable person on The Big Bang Theory since she's not as intelligent as the other characters and she doesn't have their wide scientific knowledge. Penny would definitely need to make it to the final credits of a horror movie, as audiences would root for her the entire time. She would also use her scrappy personality to save herself and she would be very impressive. She also wouldn't overanalyze the situation and her ability to be present in the moment would save her life.
