Big Brother 21 star Kat Dunn was having fun with casting producer Robyn Kass about applying for Love Island USA, but things took a turn when her BB21 co-star Holly Allen got involved in the social media exchange. To the surprise of many, Kathryn and Holly did not meet on Big Brother. It was revealed at the very beginning of the season that because Holly and Kat had done pageants in the past, they had already met prior to the show and were friendly to each other. This real-life connection did not impact the game much, except when Kat revealed this information to Jackson Michie, who in turn told Jack Matthews, who in turn shared it with the whole house and made Kat a target.
But Kat and Holly's Big Brother 21 issues have nothing to do with their experiences competing in pageants. Instead, their feud boils down to the fact that both girls dated Jackson Michie on the show. Jackson first started a showmance with Kat Dunn, but he quickly became uninterested in pursuing that further. He then decided to flirt with Holly Allen, and it worked. Jackson and Holly spent most of BB21 together, won several HOH and POV competitions, and both got to the Final 2. Meanwhile, Kat started a new fling in the jury house with Nick Maccarone.
On Friday, October 16, Kat Dunn shared a tweet (seen below) joking about her Love Island USA application being denied. In the tweet, Kat tagged Robyn Kass, who works as a casting producer on both Big Brother and Love Island USA. Also in good fun, Robyn replied that "Love Island is for girls who want ONE guy at a time...", clearly referring to the fact that Kat dated both Jackson and Nick on BB21. Kat obviously understood that Robyn was just throwing friendly shade back at her, and they laughed it off. The next day, however, Kat realized that Holly Allen had liked Robyn's reply on Twitter. So Kat posted a tweet (also seen below) with a screenshot of Holly's liked tweet, adding: "Uh no sorry you're not in on the joke." Kat then pointed out that Holly hadn't liked a single tweet on her profile since 2018 but came back to Twitter to like Robyn Kass' friendly shade.
This is definitely an interesting new chapter in this Big Brother 21 feud, particularly because it seems like Holly went out of her way to throw some serious shade at Kat using what was otherwise just a friendly interaction. It's safe to assume that these two aren't going to make amends anytime soon, so the fans can keep checking up on Kat's and Holly's social media accounts to see what else they've got to say about the other in the future.
As this BB21 fight lives on outside of the house, Big Brother 22: All-Stars is getting close to its grand finale. Whoever wins the show this year will succeed last year's winner Jackson Michie, who is the reason for this feud between Kat and Holly.
Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8pm EST on CBS.
