90 Day Fiancé: Deavan Clegg Opens Up About Drascilla Having Bell's Palsy

Ever since 90 Day Fiancé’s Deavan Clegg mentioned that her daughter Drascilla had health concerns, fans were worried sick. The reality TV star had shared the concerning update on her Instagram right on Halloween, prompting many questions from TLC viewers. The fact that Deavan had earlier accused ex Jihoon Lee of hurting Drascilla, leading to her developing an eating disorder added to their worries. Today, the 90 Day Fiancé mom confirmed the diagnosis for Drascilla by revealing that the child is suffering from Bell’s palsy.

Deavan from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s  has been a subject of constant criticism by the show’s millions of fans. As soon as her relationship with Korean man Jihoon began on season 1 of the reality show, Deavan's choices and decisions started getting ridiculed. The fact that Deavan, 23, married and moved to Korea in spite of not fully trusting Jihoon added to her woes. The TLC star blaming Jihoon for every inconvenience ended up giving him a redeeming arc, so when Deavan broke-up and flew back to America, many thought she was the one being unreasonable. But the 90 Day Fiancé mom, who’s now dating Topher Park, asking her Instagram followers to pray for Drascilla came as a surprise to many. Fans were bothered by Deavan not revealing what had happened to the child, even as her mother Elicia confirmed it wasn’t COVID-19. While the ongoing pandemic did leave 90 Day Fiancé viewers feeling uneasy, Deavan has now opened up about Drascilla being diagnosed with Bell’s palsy.

The Utah resident shared a story on her Instagram using Drascilla’s photo where he wrote, “Everyone is asking. We did find out Drascilla has Bell’s Palsy.” The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way celeb shared, “We are sad but working hard with her,” and added that Drascilla is “improving day by day” with new exercises. Deavan thanked everyone for sending their prayers and mentioned that they “are hoping she’ll fully recover” soon. “But right now, we are hoping to see our princess smile again,” said the model.

Deavan also shared the story as a post which has since been deleted and later acknowledged how she’s been getting positive comments and wishes of a speedy recovery for Drascilla from the global 90 Day Fiancé community. “Hearing everyone’s story about having Bell’s Palsy has been amazing.” She mentioned how she’s been reading all the messages she’s been getting and appreciated her fans for the great advice they’ve shared.

As noted by WebMD, Bell’s palsy is also known as “acute facial palsy of unknown cause” and is a condition where the muscles on one side of the face become weak or paralyzed. It affects only one side of the person’s face at a time, making it droop or become stiff on that particular side. It reportedly can affect anyone but often occurs in people who have diabetes or are recovering from viral infections. Thankfully, the symptoms are only temporary.

What caused Drascilla's condition is not yet known, but considering the symptoms usually get better over three weeks or so, and also shows a full recovery with or without treatment, she can be expected to be fit and fine in no time. Meanwhile, Deavan can be sure that her 90 Day Fiancé fans and followers will only keep sending their blessings and positive vibes little Drascilla’s way.
