Many 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way viewers have observed that Ariela Weinberg's mother, Janice, is very supportive of her daughter's choices. But in the recent episode, she got quite emotional thinking about how Ari and her grandson, Aviel, would be able to live in a third world country.
Janice is one of the best mothers ever featured on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. When her daughter was pregnant and wanted to move to Ethiopia to be with her boyfriend Biniyam Shibre, she accompanied her and made sure that she wouldn't face any problems during her stay in a new country. Unlike many other cast members who hail from America, Janice was open to learning more about Ethiopia and respected its culture. Although she was concerned about the couple's living conditions, she never ridiculed Biniyam and asked valid questions in the most polite way. Since Janice works as a nurse, she also wanted to inspect the local hospital where Ariela gave birth. Once she was convinced that the Ethiopian hospital would be able to take care of a difficult case (if need be), she didn't shy away from expressing her satisfaction. She also asked the Ethiopian native some tough questions about his ex-wife in the most respectful manner. Many fans noticed as a caring parent Janice did put forward her concerns but without hurting anyone's feelings.
On social media, she received tons of positive comments from many 90 Day Fiancé fans. A fan said, "The only voice of reason on the show. I find her a total breath of fresh air." Another one agreed that she was "really reasonable and polite in her inquiries." Still, in the last few episodes of 90 Day Fiance, Janice has acted too protective of her 28-year-old reality TV star daughter. Instead of letting her navigate her new life and responsibilities alone, she tried to provide financial and emotional crutches to her adult kid. Janice could be right that Avi and Ari would lead a better and comfortable life in the United States; but by doing that, the newborn baby would lose touch with his father.
Plus, it's clear that the TLC star is willing to sacrifice her luxurious life in America. She is brave enough and making an effort to begin a new life with her family of three. So the "positive gangster" should respect, in fact, applaud, her daughter's wishes instead of pushing her to leave Ethiopia.
Still, there's no doubt that Ari's parents love her immensely and want the best for her. Let's hope the new mommy doesn't regret her decision and her 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way boyfriend lives up to her expectations.
