The Batman Movie Trailer Recreated With LEGOs In Even More Detail

The Batman trailer has again been recreated in LEGO format, but this time in even greater detail. The Robert Pattinson-starring DC feature is highly anticipated among fans. The trailer debuted at DC FanDome back in August to rave reception across the board. Although the film was coming next year, fans will be waiting until 2022 to see cinema's latest take on the Caped Crusader.

It's no surprise the world of Batman keeps being revisited in cinema. There's something engaging about a city infested with crime and one man's war on it. Every cinematic take on Batman's world has delivered something distinct. One can easily recognize Gotham City in Batman Returns, and Christopher Nolan's contemporary take in The Dark Knight trilogy certainly worked. There's only been one trailer for The Batman, and already this version is making its mark. Given the release date delay, one shouldn't expect any major news for the time being. In the meantime, fans can enjoy discussing how The Batman will play out based on the footage thus far. Also, a LEGO Batman recreation was uploaded near the end of August, giving fans another way to experience the trailer. Now, an even more detailed recreation has been shared for all to enjoy.

YouTuber Joebor1777 has uploaded a LEGO recreation of The Batman trailer. The video was made in collaboration with 12 other animators, and the end product shows. Not only is it fully animated using LEGO, but there are even facial animations matching the words spoken by the characters. Check out the recreation below.

Although The Batman is over a year away, filming will reportedly finish much earlier. Colin Farrell, who plays Penguin, recently said he would be filming on and off until February 2021. It will be a tough wait, but people are used to release date delays by now. That being said, it looks like the wait will be worth it given the footage that has already been released for the film. In the meantime, fans can appreciate each other's projects based on the film, such as artwork and LEGO recreations of the trailer.

The video above is an impressive creation. Everything, from the Riddler crime scene to Catwoman dropping in, is perfectly recreated in LEGO format. Perhaps the greatest aspect is that the recreation retains the atmosphere of the original trailer. Despite LEGOs typically being used to create humorous videos, the recreation makes a good case that Pattinson's Batman could be taken completely seriously, even in LEGO form.
