Most 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans loathed the long-distance love affair between Brittany Banks and Yazan Abu Hurira. But where TLC viewers found it difficult to choose sides in their rocky relationship, there was one person who they absolutely approved of. Brittany’s father, Greg, introduced in episode one of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, became everyone’s favorite due to his signature smile, and, of course, wise words of advice for Brittany. However, amidst the Instagram war Brittany and Yazan are currently having, Greg has made claims that the Jordanian man stole, was violent, and cheated, leaving 90 Day Fiancé fans shell shocked.
Aspiring rapper Brittany, 26, met Yazan, 24, via his sister, who stayed near Brittany's family in Chicago. The bold Brittany instantly fell for the shy Yazan, and within weeks flew down to Amman, where he proposed. On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season two, fans watched Brittany preparing to move to Jordan, though she had some skeletons lurking in her closet. Not only was Brittany still married to her ex, but she also wasn’t ready to convert to Yazan’s religion and give up her bikinis. However, while 90 Day Fiancé showed Yazan getting death threats on TV, Brittany’s Instagram said he was already aware of her marriage and didn’t care about his religion. The Florida native called out TLC for giving her a bad edit, while Yazan went ahead and declared that Brittany had used him and confessed to having a new girlfriend. After all of this drama, it’s now Brittany’s father who feels the truth about her apparently toxic relationship with Yazan should come out.
Greg, who recently made an Instagram account, giving in to many requests from his female admirers, posted a story with Yazan’s picture saying, “Keep playing with my daughter and we’ll be exposing your family and your father.” What seems to be a response to Yazan’s explosive Instagram-live with his brother, Obaida, where he claimed Brittany was making him “mad,” Greg’s next story, as reposted by @90daythemelatedway, mentioned, “Yazan, I find it comical how you have nothing good to say about my daughter when you cheated on her constantly. She has never said a word.” The 90 Day Fiancé dad claimed, “You have stolen money from her, she never said a word. You have been violent towards her and she has not said a word. She has loved you even to protect you now.” Greg continued, “But I don’t owe you any loyalty and you don’t deserve any from Brittany. You are a useless man and have been one since I met you. Greg's next story alleges that not only did Yazan cheat on and abuse Brittany, but he also had a boyfriend! “You owe my family more than $7,000 and you say my daughter used you. You asked her to lie about you not knowing she was married to protect you from your grandfather. It was really a scheme to paint her as a liar,” exclaimed Greg. The TLC celeb’s father claims Yazan had been trying to get to America since he met their family. Greg reminded Yazan he also paid for Brittany’s flights to Jordan and Yazan promised to pay him back, which he never did, but instead “spent the money drinking and partying with his boyfriend Muhammad.”
While it may have been Brittany who had the receipts on Yazan and his family until now, her father’s claims are far more disturbing. Brittany has hinted at the truth to be revealed during a new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, 90 Day Bares All. However, at the same time, Brittany also expressed concerns that the final edit of that too might not tell the true story.
