How long before Matt Casey, Kelly Severide, and the rest of House 51 bites the dust? Who will be the first and last to die if Chicago Fire was turned into a horror movie? Chicago Fire has had great storylines over the years but this could be their best one yet.

10 Mouch

Mouch is just not fast enough to make the necessary decisions to survive. He will be the first to go as he decides to sacrifice his life for Darren Ritter. The young firefighter has been somewhat of a protégé of Mouch's and with his life in danger, Mouch will make the ultimate sacrifice.

His years on the job has taught him that nothing lasts forever. Eventually, your number will be called and Mouch has lost many friends over the years. Losing Ritter is out of the question. And because of his loyalty, Mouch will be the first to die.

9 Darren Ritter

Ritter will be next after watching Mouch go down. Mouch made him feel like a part of the House 51 family from the very beginning. Ritter is still learning the job but he does understand family and loyalty.

Ritter is prone to make mistakes but that's doesn't mean he's a bad firefighter. He has the tools but the mistakes are him just overthinking his movements. But this decision is not one to overthink. He looks to help Mouch but it's too late for the both of them.

8 Christopher Herrmann

Jokes aside, Herrmann is still a serious firefighter. With his new rank, Herrmann is even more determined to prove his worth and standing within House 51 and the Chicago Fire Department. The proud family man of House 51, Herrmann knows nothing but sacrifice.

A killer on the loose in an abandoned building in Chicago would be considered small to what Hermann faces at home. Herrmann's death will be the result of saving another.

7 Gianna Mackey

The new paramedic, Gianna is still going through that phase of trying to fit in. House 51 is a family and although Mackey grew up under the watchful eye of Joe Cruz, she still feels out of place in her new Firehouse. Paired with Sylvie Brett, Gianna did not get off to a great start.

Not too sure of her movements despite being well-trained, Mackey will be the next to die as she tries to calculate her moves instead of using her instincts.

6 Joe Cruz

Joe Cruz grew up in the rough streets of Chicago so his fear level may not be where everyone else is. His first instinct is not to run. Cruz will do whatever he has to do in order to save anyone in need. And for that bravery, Cruz will be the next in line to die.

Cruz is a great firefighter and friend, which has worked against him in the past. Facing a killer in the building will only force his protective instincts into overdrive.

5 Sylvie Brett

One of the best traits that Sylvie Brett has is her ability to see the good in people. Since joining House 51, Brett has found herself in plenty of tight situations. From car crashes to having guns pointed at the back of her head, Brett never misses a beat.

Dealing with a killer was not in the cards but that doesn't mean she won't handle it with the same grit she shows on the streets of Chicago. She's tough and doesn't back down, and that's the reason why she will be the next to die. There is no fear there.

4 Kelly Severide

Kelly Severide is a highly emotional character. He's a leader in the House but bits of his personal life do interfere with his work as a firefighter. Now dating Stella Kidd, Kelly does have to fight the urge to show her favoritism. His feelings for her will be the reason for his demise.

Love is a wonderful thing and Kelly has had some setbacks in that department. While on the search for Stella, Severide will give his life to protect the women he loves.

3 Stella Kidd

Stella Kidd has found her path within the Chicago Fire Department. As one of the rising women, Stella has shown the passion and will that one needs to rise up the ranks. She's fearless and cares about the community and the people in it. But that doesn't mean that Stella can't make mistakes.

In most horror movies, it's the smallest judgments in errors that will determine whether one lives or does. Stella has been on a roll lately but those feelings for Kelly and her knack for trying to save him will cost her.

2 Matt Casey

Talk about a guy dealing with such bad luck in his personal life. Matt Casey has been through plenty over the course of eight seasons on Chicago Fire that he needs a win. But he won't get one here either. Matt has never had trouble giving orders but he's had to deal with his emotions more than the others.

Matt is a great leader and for that, he will probably face the killer and give his life for another member of House 51. His sacrifice would be one of the reasons fans love him.

1 Wallace Boden

Chief Boden will be the last to die simply because he would be the last to head into the building. It's not out of fear,  it's just the way the order is set up. Boden will hear the calls of the others and rush in without a second thought.

He's a true leader and that will be the reason he lasts as long as he does. But even Boden has a breaking point that he can't ignore. With his team falling, Boden will not leave without trying to get to his team.
