Dale Moss from The Bachelorette took to Instagram this week to reveal that he did everything he could to make his relationship with his former fiancé Clare Crawley work. He also took the time to shut down the cheating rumors that have been circulating about him.
When Dale stepped out of the limo on night one of the reality series, Clare fell in love with him instantly. After he walked away to go inside and meet the other men, Clare admitted to Chris Harrison that she thought she just met her husband. Their relationship seemed to be going that way, as Dale Moss proposed to Clare two weeks after they first met. The couple appeared to have the perfect relationship on social media, but their fairytale love story came to an end last week. That was when Dale announced that he and Clare have gone their separate ways. A few days later, hairstylist and reality star Clare Crawley confirmed the news.
In a series of @dalemoss13 Instagram Stories from Monday, Dale finally addressed his followers regarding his surprise breakup from Clare. The 31-year-old revealed that while he may look like he is doing fine, based on his social media activity, the situation has been rough on him deep down inside. "I know a lot y’all have seen me smile on social media and say I don’t seem as hurt or burdened by this. But that’s the farthest thing — like, this time sucked,” he admitted to his followers. He continued, “Thank God I have the friends and the family that I have, because they’ve literally had to carry me through the last two-plus weeks.” Dale confirmed that he and Clare Crawley split on January 19, when he shared a since-deleted Instagram post. A couple of days later, Clare responded to the news, admitting she was blindsided by the statement. Dale seemingly addressed this issue by saying, "We’ve had our ups and downs and you know, have gone through our things but you know the statements that came out — like, this didn’t come out of nowhere." He added, "I love Clare and respect Clare enough to let her know how I feel, even if that’s against the expectations of everybody else, and it’s gonna take time." While the couple was together, Dale confessed to putting his "heart and soul" into the relationship, but in the end, he felt it wasn't enough to build a solid, healthy relationship.
When it came to the alleged cheating rumors, Dale seemingly glossed over the topic by calling out those who have been spreading lies and pointing the finger at him. The ending of the relationship had to do with both him and Clare and not just one person, in his opinion. The former football player was accused of cheating on Clare with a woman named Eleonora Srugo. The pair were seen at New York City hotspot Cipriani Downtown, as well as with two other women. The two women are Brooks Nader, who is married to Billy Haire, and Rachel Hilbert. Dale ran into Eleonora after attending a Hugo Boss event with the other two ladies. However, Eleonora has denied the claims, even revealing that she was on a date with another man when she ran into Dale.
Since the split, Dale has been spending time with family, as his sister Robyn came to visit him in New York shortly after he broke the news of the split. However, in his latest Instagram Story, Dale shared a video recorded inside a plane that's about to take off. Could he be heading back to South Dakota to be with his family? Its sounds like he may need time away from The Bachelorette spotlight for a while.
