Jake Paul Shares Hookah Pipe At Maskless Miami Yacht Party

Unlike his brother Logan, who was recently training for a now-postponed boxing bout, Jake Paul has found time to relax in Miami. Jake Paul, the recent South Florida transplant, was photographed on Sunday on a crowded yacht, partying and even sharing a hookah pipe with fellow revelers. Even though Florida has no mask mandates or limits on social gatherings, the coronavirus pandemic is still raging, leading many fans to question Paul's decision making.

Jake Paul has been on the radar since 2017. That was the year he began to make headlines as a social media star and a fired Disney cast member. Since that time, Paul has amassed a large YouTube following as a content creator and prankster, though he originally began on the now-defunct Vine app. Jake Paul, a six-foot-tall blonde 24-year old from Ohio, has built his career on controversy. Since 2017, he has been videotaped using the N-word and been accused of looting a mall during BLM protests. He's also been raided by the FBI, gotten condemned for throwing parties during quarantine, and been knocked out by a retired NBA star. He famously told a reporter that he thinks COVID is a "hoax," and moved from his home in California to Florida to focus on his fledgling boxing career. His current career goal appears to be boxing recently defeated Conor McGregor, who isn't afraid of the "confused little kid."  Now, he's getting more backlash for socializing the day after 153 Floridians died from coronavirus.

According to the Daily Mail, the young boxer attended a large yacht party off the coast of Miami, Florida on Sunday. Photographs from the outing show no masks, social distancing, or general awareness of the 419,000 Americans who have died from coronavirus. The collection of partygoers appeared unaware of how coronavirus spreads. They were photographed sharing a hookah pipe, a smoking device that, when shared, requires users to put their mouth on something that other people have also put their mouth on. That, of course, is exactly the type of questionable Jake Paul behavior to which fans have grown accustomed.

As recently as November, Paul, who loves to challenge other celebrities, told the press that he thinks coronavirus is a "hoax," though he has since walked back those comments. There is no walking back the photos from Sunday, however. These pics suggest that Paul is still of the same opinion about the pandemic's legitimacy.

Jake Paul, the most famous attendee of the gathering, will undoubtedly face the most scrutiny, whether that's fair or not. The fact of the matter is that it takes more than one person to attend a party. Jake Paul and other partygoers' actions appear inexcusable considering the state of the country right now. Since 3,000 Americans are estimated to be dying from the virus daily, it doesn't seem like there was anything to celebrate. Whatever the undoubtedly selfish reasoning behind his actions, one thing is for sure, and that is the fact that Jake Paul is still behaving like the coronavirus isn't real.
