Bachelorette Season 17: Top 3 Possible Female Leads, Per Reality Steve

Reality Steve thinks that The Bachelorette season 17 will cast Kendall Long, Hannah Ann Sluss, or Tia Booth as the lead. Needless to say, The Bachelorette season 16 was a bittersweet experience for the viewers. The show started out with Clare Crawley as the lead, but when she fell deeply in love with Dale Moss on night one, all the subsequent episodes felt pointless. That is, at least until the producers brought in Tayshia Adams to replace Clare, which thankfully got the show back on track. Tayshia trusted the process and followed along with the format of the show. She chose Zac Clark in the end and got engaged to him.

Confusing storylines and sudden casting changes aside, the fans didn't love the seemingly low budget that went into The Bachelorette season 16. In truth, the show was filmed at a smaller location and didn't feature any traditional grandiose dates because the production team was still figuring out how to film a new season in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. By the time they started filming Matt James' season of The Bachelor, they were way more confident in their new practices and safety guidelines. Now, there is every reason to believe that they're also going to go all out for the next season of The Bachelorette, which is scheduled to air in the summer of 2021.

Now, Reality Steve is reporting with a certain level of confidence the candidates that he thinks have a shot at becoming the next Bachelorette. First and foremost, Steve really thinks that the next lead of The Bachelorette will not be "someone from 7 years ago or further," so he is basing off his assumptions on the finalists from the six most recent seasons of The Bachelor. But going down the list, nearly all of those women are currently dating, engaged, or married, leaving very few candidates left. Narrowing down the names, Steve believes that the next Bachelorette will be Kendall Long, Hannah Ann Sluss, or Tia Booth.

The fans got to know Kendall Long and Tia Booth back in 2018 when they competed on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor. Kendall placed third overall, and Tia got fourth place. Hannah Ann Sluss was introduced to Bachelor Nation on Peter Weber's season. She got to the end, and he even proposed to her. However, their engagement only lasted 30 days.

Bachelor Nation is looking forward to what will hopefully be a more traditional season of The Bachelorette! After such an eventful 2020, it's clear that the fans just want to go back to their traditions in 2021.
