Big Brother: Jackson Michie Explains Doing Good Deeds On New YouTube Channel

The often controversial Big Brother 21 winner Jackson Michie has a new YouTube channel where he wants to show a sweeter side of himself and do some good deeds for other people that he meets along the way. After winning BB21 by a 6-3 jury vote and taking home the $500,000 grand prize in 2019, Jackson went on to live a life where he mostly didn't acknowledge anything controversial or problematic that he did on the show. Jackson also stayed with his showmance partner Holly Allen for quite some time, but something seemed to change in Jackson halfway through 2020.

For months now, Jackson Michie has been on what can be described as a social media apology tour where he finds himself regularly owning up to the mistakes he made on Big Brother 21, admitting his faults, and giving the fans new pieces of context relating to how his life looked like back in 2019. Of note, Jackson has apologized to the fans, to Holly Allen, and to his mother. He has also revealed that he was recovering from addictions to Xanax, Adderall, and cocaine when he got cast on BB21. Last but not least, Jackson appears to be in a new relationship with Cheer star Morgan Simianer.

And yet, Big Brother fans and alumni have been hesitant about trusting the "new" Jackson Michie and looking past the problematic behavior that he exhibited during his season. Alas, Jackson is still trying to prove himself to the naysayers, and the next step in that journey is a brand-new YouTube channel where Jackson vows to share even more content. In the first video of the channel (seen below), Jackson briefly sums up his time on BB21 and ends it with, "But that's not who I am." He goes on to talk about all the reflection he's been doing ever since, and how it's been important to "check [his] ego" every step of the way. Overall, Jackson blames poor communication (with himself and with others) as the root of his many issues. He then details all the content that will be featured on his channel, including good deeds, workout videos, funny clips, and adorable moments with his dog. Fans can now subscribe to Jackson's new YouTube channel to watch what's next.

Besides the honest self-reflections he's shared over the last few months, Jackson Michie has also been posting plenty of funny videos and thirst traps on Instagram and TikTok. Recently, he has also been tagging alleged girlfriend Morgan Simianer in a bunch of posts and leaving comments under all her new pictures. From the looks of it, this really is a new moment for Jackson.

This summer, CBS will air Big Brother 23 with a batch of new houseguests. Let's hope that the series is as unexpected as we always want it to be!
