Post-weight loss life has been plenty of fun for 90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem. The grandmother of six, Angela, had revealed her plans of getting a makeover on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5, post which, her fans yearned to see her before and after results. With the show coming back for season 6, it became clear that Angela would document her weight loss surgery journey in it, with a clip showing her flirt with her surgeon. And as fans were shocked to see how much Dr. Michael K. Obeng looked like the 90 Day Fiancé star’s husband Michael Ilesanmi, she surprised them further by attending the expert’s birthday bash, all the way in Los Angeles.
During her recent appearance on 90 Day Bares All, Angela, 55, had a chance to tease her fans with an exclusive clip of the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6. With Michael still away in Nigeria, awaiting his spousal visa, Angela was shown getting a consultation from Dr. Obeng, who looks like Michael’s doppelganger apart from sharing his name. Angie’s first thought on seeing the weight loss expert is “Are you married?” as she tells the cameras, “I don’t know if the universe is giving me a gift, or trying to get my a** in trouble.” The scene gets all the more awkward when the doctor asks to examine Angela’s chest for her future surgery, and she blushes while revealing that her “breasts haven’t been touched in six months.”
While what happens later will be known only once 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? premieres in April, Angela is flaunting the results of her meeting openly on Instagram. The Georgia resident recently shares photos of her post 90 pounds weight-loss body, while earning praise from her TLC co-stars. It was also reported that Angela underwent five surgeries, including liposuction, gastric sleeve, and more. The 90 Day Fiancé star then took to the red carpet at Dr. Obeng’s birthday bash in LA in a glammed up look, wearing a stunning red ensemble.
While skinny Angela did not post about the part herself, it was her younger daughter and 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite Skyla Rae who shared the updates. “Beautiful souls! Momma and my line dancing partner,” Skyla wrote as a caption for a video of Angela and her trainer Natasha Fett, as her mom joked about toting her phone in her signature chest purse. In a different post, Skyla uploaded a stylish photo of herself and revealed how they’d flown down to Cali “for one night” at the last minute and how the night “didn’t disappoint.” The TLC star wrote about meeting some great people and that she partied all night long until their flight back, as she wished Dr. Michael a happy birthday.
Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? shows Angela’s trust issues slithering back to the surface due to her COVID-19 induced long-distance marriage with Michael. A scene has Angela asking someone to put a tracker in the Nigerian man’s phone while in Lagos, Michael’s buddies joke about some “big booty girls.” With Angela also flirting with her doctor, could Michael be the one getting more insecure in this season? Or could the slim 90 Day Fiancé meemaw be acting mischievously with Michael’s medical twin to make him jealous on purpose?
