90 Day Fiancé: Rebecca Recalls Mishap At Fairytale Wedding With Zied

While concerns of Zied Hakimi using Rebecca Parrott for a green card and money still persist, the 90 Day Fiancé couple will be getting married in episode 16. The TLC pair who started their journey on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days faced many hurdles ranging from cultural to trust issues, despite which Zied made his way to America. His disinterest and coaxing Rebecca into an instant wedding showed bright red flags, still, Zied’s purple suit seems to have dulled them all on the D-day. But 90 Day Fiancé star Rebecca also dealt with a new tragedy as she said “yes” to Zied, which made her fairytale almost get an unhappy ending.

The former private investigator Rebecca had revealed how she wanted a magical wedding on 90 Day Fiancé season 8. With Rebecca having married thrice before and still being unlucky in love, the pandemic threw a wrench in her plans. Zied suddenly remembered he was practicing Ramadan, and Rebecca saw her ceremony getting fast-tracked. But, eventually, the mother of three did give in to Zied’s demands as the couple decided to walk down the aisle in a quiet resort. Tunisian star Zied, who’s been wowing 90 Day Fiancé fans with his glow-up couldn’t keep his eyes off Rebecca. However, Rebecca had to deal with a major mishap before she could turn herself into Cinderella.

A mistake on Rebecca’s part had her playing her own fairy godmother on her much-awaited wedding day on 90 Day Fiancé. While Zied was happy with a simple courthouse do, Rebecca and he said their “I dos” in the Forest Hills mountain resort which also arranged a horse-driven carriage for the 50-year-old bride. The gleaming Rebecca, however, had just saved served from a disastrous fashion faux pas before she could get Zied to call her his “beautiful bride.” In an interview with Brides, Rebecca revealed how the wedding dress she was spotted stuffing in a suitcase in a previous episode was actually a used one she’d bought online.

Because no shops were open for the 90 Day Fiancé star to get her bridal attire from, Rebecca zeroed down on one, which eventually “didn’t fit!” An upset Rebecca, however, controlled the situation by improvising the dress and wearing a corset on top. The stylish Zied approved of his wife’s look as he commented, “In the dress, she's so sexy,” and gushed about being happy to have a woman like Rebecca in his life. Thus, Rebecca’s presence of mind saved the wedding day frenzy which could have occurred in an already tumultuous season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé.

The Georgia resident, who currently works at Joella’s fried chicken was working as a PI in her earlier 90 Day Fiancé stint, putting tracking devices under people’s cars. Prior to that Rebecca also worked as a motorcycle mechanic, after having taught herself how to ride and repair one. Of course, the reality TV star Rebecca had also tried her luck in Hollywood, where she starred a member of Isla Fisher’s posse in Keeping Up with the Joneses. Now with her foray into fashion styling as well, perhaps, 90 Day Fiancé star and now Mrs. Rebecca Hakimi can explore a whole new career as well.
