90 Day Fiancé: Why Rebecca Was A Bike Mechanic Before Meeting Zied

Rebecca Parrott wears many hats when she’s not romancing Zied Hakimi on 90 Day Fiancé season 8. All set for her fourth marriage on the TLC show, Rebecca is shown working long hours at a fried chicken restaurant to help support Zied. Prior to that, fans saw Rebecca be a cool private investigator on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Now, Rebecca has shared that she was a motorcycle mechanic before she met Zied.

It’s always fun to see 90 Day Fiancé cast members working regular jobs, apart from being reality TV celebs. While Rebecca is a known face of the franchise, who has had cultural differences with Zied (he hails from Tunisia), she’s also a Jill of all trades. “It’s in my nature to do the things I want to do,” Rebecca had once told her YouTube fans. She said this while revealing that she’d taken a 70-hour course (and collaborated with a licensed agent) to get her own sponsored license to be a private investigator in Georgia. Following that, Rebecca, who’s never afraid of trying anything new, started working at Joella’s restaurant. She confessed that she also had a culinary degree and has worked in restaurants for years, but where does being a motorcycle mechanic fit in?

The TLC star Rebecca, who loves to share her makeovers and other interesting things about her offscreen life on social media, recently posted a throwback to her motorcycle days. Zied’s lady noted how she loved riding so much that she became a motorbike mechanic for several years. “Still have my license,” gushed the 90 Day Fiancé, star while adding that she “definitely needs another bike." In her video from December 2019, Rebecca Parrott had revealed that she’d always worked on cars with her dad, and before her divorce from her first husband, she had gifted him a Ninja 750 sportbike. The 90 Day Fiancé star spoke about her ex taking off and leaving her with the kids to ride the motorcycle, so Rebecca took herself to the school parking lot and taught herself how to ride it.

The next day, Rebecca bought her own motorbike, which she soon became obsessed with, as she loved the freedom that it brought to her life. After her divorce from the father of her three kids, 90 Day Fiancé star Rebecca decided to become a motorcycle mechanic by taking some online courses. Rebecca ended up doing the job for two years, and explained that it comes from her belief that “whatever I decide to do, I try to do it.” Fans were thrilled to take a peek into the 50-year-old’s past and some even asked her for bike recommendations. Rebecca asked the 90 Day Fiancé viewer to check out Triumph. She thinks they make good bikes and revealed that she “used to work on them.”

Apart from private investigating, repairing bikes, and being responsible for food (and food costs) at her new workplace, Rebecca once worked in Hollywood. The Georgia native was a part of Keeping Up with The Joneses, where she played one of Isla Fisher’s friends in the 2016 movie. With Zied having worked as an actor in Tunisia, it's possible that the couple might star in a TV series of their own soon. Given the differences they’re currently having on season 8, fans may want Rebecca to get her man on a motorcycle, so he can ride off into the sunset.
